This is a great hot plate that cooks even and well.

A very good compact size. Works excellent ! Good Product, came in the factory box nicely packed and fast delivery. It’s get hot on the housing while using it which normal for any electric stove top.

UPDATE: Cuisimax reached out to us to offer a refund after reading my review. Even tough the product did not meet our expectations, they do seem to care about customer satisfaction which is always a plus. Based on the level of customer service we received, I am updating from 2 star to 4 stars. We did not ask for a refund. They offered. Previous review: Works ok, but on/off markings rubbed off within a week or so, which is the main reason for the 2 stars. Never had a product's markings rub off this easily. Just used soap and water to clean. Brought this up to the seller. Never got a response. Never the less, the burner seems to work fine in a pinch. Don't expect the markings to last.

This is a great hot plate. The low temps keep things hot and the high temps get things cooking quickly. It's the perfect size for almost any size pot or pan. Because it's stainless steel cleanup is a breeze. This beats my old hot plate hands down. Very happy with the quality and versatility.

Was expecting better performance from this so-called “1500W” burner. It takes Waaay tooooo loooong to even try and boil a little pot of water. Could not cook anything with it. Very disappointing. If you need to just keep food warm, then I guess this will work for you. I would Not recommend this if you want to use it to cook or boil water. I guess the temperature control inside regulates too much, that the unit just keeps on going on and off. No constant heat to get it to a hot enough temperature to cook. Not sure if I received a defective one, but it’s Very frustrating

So far so good. People who complained about odor probably didn't read the instructions, which very clearly say to put it outside and turn it on high for a little while when you first get it to burn off a coating (presumably oil on the cast iron). I got this because NONE of the alleged plastic-free electric kettles really are, so I decided to go the old fashion way with a separate hot plate and kettle. I like that this has simple mechanical controls without electronics, computers, LEDs, touchpads, or other gimmicky razzle-dazzle, all of which always gives out pretty quick. Being a utilitarian sort I don't usually comment on appearance, but I have to admit, this looks elegant. I still haven't found a good kettle to put on it because, just like with the electric ones, even some of the plain glass kettles have plastic parts despite claiming the contrary, but that's not the fault of the hot plate. It works great. I'll find a decent glass kettle eventually and meanwhile this is mutipurpose. If it doesn't last, I'll revisit this and let you know. That's the thing that makes Amazon's reviews more credible than, for example, Ebay's, IMO, that you can revise them. Fri 7 Nov 2025

Good at first but don’t stay really hot. Unfortunately this makes it hard to cook food like past etc bc it won’t remain at a boil

The design looks clean and solid, which makes me feel comfortable and confident using it. I mainly use it for hot pot and Korean BBQ, and it works very well for both. The height is just right and very convenient for tabletop cooking. It has 7 temperature/power levels to adjust, and the stainless steel body is easy to clean. One thing to note is that because hot pot and grilling require continuous heating, the stainless steel surface becomes very hot after use. I always wait for it to cool down before wiping it, as it can be hot to the touch, so please be careful. That said, it is lifted by four feet underneath, so it doesn’t affect the tabletop. I use it on a glass dining table, and the table only gets slightly warm, which is totally fine. Only the cooktop body itself gets hot. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.
