First off, I am a HUGE fan of Plant Therapy as a brand, but I especially love the Kidsafe line of oil blends (that are safe to use around kids, hence the name).The oils in my kit are A+ Attention, Calming the Child, Germ Destroyer (my personal fave), Immune Boom, Nighty Night, and Sniffle Stopper. Each oil can be diffused or applied topically when mixed with a carrier oil (such as fractionated Coconut oil).Here’s my breakdown of each one:A+ Attention: This is a blend of a few different oils. The scent is a nice mix of earthy and citrusy, (earthy from Cedarwood and citrusy from Grapefruit) with a calming addition of Lavender. Grapefruit is known for its invigorating and uplifting scent, Lavender for its calming effect, and Cedarwood for grounding.Calming the Child: Surprisingly for me, this is very citrusy! The citrus is balanced with Roman Chamomile and Lavender. I diffused this during my son’s bath this evening (he’s 15 months old) and the smell was very “centering”. Roman Chamomile is great for anti-inflammatory properties and acts as a very mild sedative.Germ Destroyer: My absolute favorite essential oil! The smell is amazing - it smells to me like a fancy naturopathic spa. I would guess that’s the Spruce and Marjoram playing a part in that. Since Spruce acts as an antimicrobial, it’s great for the germ destroying part. Marjoram is good for respiratory and sinus issues, and Rosemary acts as an antibacterial. This really has worked when my kids are sick to limit the spread of germs and increase overall well-being.Immune Boom: ahh, the oil everyone complains smells like pickles! It’s likely the Dill oil that reminds some of the scent of pickles, but Dill is effective for many ailments - indigestion, stomach ails, and nervousness of the mind and body. Immune Boom has a very bright, earthy, spicy scent. Petitgrain (some call it Bitter Orange) is a very soothing aroma and is a great antiseptic.Sniffle Stopper: Once you open the bottle you’ll immediately understand why it’s called Sniffle Stopper! The combination of woodsy scents from rosemary, spruce, Cyprus, fir needle, and Virginian Cedarwood blended with bright and cleansing Spearmint immediately brighten the senses and act as a decongestant and expectorant.Nighty Night: This is such a soothing blend of oils to add into a child’s bedtime routine. Lavender, Cedarwood, Clary Sage and Chamomile Roman all act as grounding, calming aromas; Mandarin and Blue Tansy add brightness and depth to this blend. We diffuse it either during the night or with the kids’ bedtime routines.**Please note that although I am a huge advocate of essential oils, I am not a doctor or aromatherapist- these views are my own, based on my knowledge and experience with these oil blends. I highly recommend this kit if you are just starting out with essential oil blends and specifically looking for something that will work for your children.

I was so excited to receive these oils and had very high hopes for them. It’s hard to tell from smelling them in the container. Best to judge after trying it in an oil diffuser because it is overkill and not pleasant smelling without them breathing. I wouldn’t add too many drops in your oil diffuser because anything more then 3 drops for a large 500ml diffuser could be over kill. I will see if my children actually will respond to the intended effects and update. It came in a nice wooden box to keep the oils in. My box did arrive broken on one side so I just super glued it back on which worked. I received the correct items in the set advertised. All oils were sealed and did not leak during shipping. It arrived quickly. I am happy with this purchase and look forward to seeing how they benefit my children. Sniffles stopper is my favorite out these so far and is one of the more pleasant scents in this set. Best of all I can use them knowing they are safe for my children!Update: I am happy with the sniffle stopper and it does seem to work well for the sniffles and clearing out your airways for better breathing. The rest of the scents are a bit off for my liking but I do enjoy the sniffle stopper scent and it has worked for the sniffles. I just wish you could buy each oil separately so I wouldn’t have to buy the entire set for one oil blend.

This was bought for a gift. I believe it to be the quality expected with essential oils.

Great quality, smell great long lasting always get comments on how good they smell. I manage a daycare and I use these there and it eliminates that daycare smell.

I got these for my nine-year-old son, since he complained everyone in the house had a diffuser but him. He knows how to work his machine and brings it down for me to clean on a regular basis. Having these help with my busy schedule, since I don't have to read up on what he can use or needs to use at the moment. The Immune Boom is great to have on hand when he's been around others who are sick, and if he's cleaning his room on a Saturday, I'll have him use the Attention or Germ Destroyer. He was so excited when these came in. It's the perfect variety, and it uses some rare oils I don't have on hand. (And I have a lot of oils.) It also helped when we went on vacation after Christmas. We were around someone who was VERY sick, and I made sure to keep the diffuser running. I even have one in the car for when we have those long journeys. My son and I were the main ones in the family to use our diffusers, and we were the only two in our family that didn't get sick. (I was taking some Eos internally to avoid the bug but pulled back on giving them to my husband when he made a few disbelieving comments. He got sick!) My teen daughters got mildly sick, whereas my son and I didn't catch anything. Just be sure to travel with them!
