This thing is awesome. I never write amazon reviews but I felt like I had to, because of the price of this and how great it works. I love how compact that controller device is, my reptile space is pretty crowded but i can suction this right to the front glass. It was easy to set up just follow the book instructions carefully. I made sure to follow the advice of other reviewers and really shove the tubes in there. They shouldn't come out if you pull on them. I am using this on a 40 breeder (really a 50 gallon) tank and I feel like depending on your humidity needs it would work for a 4x2x2 or slightly bigger. Anything else might need a more advanced system with more nozzles. I need 90% humidity which is hard in a glass tank with heat, but this is easily able to keep up with that. There are a LOT of different interval settings which is great. You can have it go off once every 30 days if you need to (but who needs it that rarely??) or as often as every minute. The spray is great - a very fine mist that soaks everything. The nozzles are adjustable and can be rotated 360. I would say the pump is a little loud but does not bug me at all. I just use a gallon jug of distilled water, which is like 3 bucks. So it's very cost effective as well.

Nice misting system that is easy to run and set up. I used a gallon sized purified drinking water for my whites tree frog and made sure the unit was above the level of the jug. Then cut a hole on the middle top of the metal mesh topper and it screwed right in. (You can buy the suction cups that come with the zip ties or the ones with the tube holder clips from Amazon if you want the tube through the top and suctioned to the side of the terrarium) otherwise [see pictures] this is how I set up mine. It didn’t flood or overfill like one review stated. Also comes with plenty of tubing in case you make a wrong cut. Comes with extra filters and springs for the end of the sprayer. Please read the manual and clean properly and there should be no leaks. The sprayer can be adjusted to a wide cone or to a small area as well. On a budget this is a very good system to buy! 🐸

This mister is effective and helpful for me as a person who forgets to mist their frogs tasks at reasonable times. The setup was easy and I still have extra tubing and zip ties incase I ever need to redo it. The mister also takes up minimal space and I can just put it behind my frog's tank so it is not very visible. I can simply fill up a jug with clean water and set the timer to go off every 12 hours for 5 seconds. I like that I can change the times and duration or even manually mist the tank with the device depending on the tank's and my frog's conditions. I have not had any issues with leaking or breaking in the 6 moths that I have had it. The only issue is the noise when it mists although it is less a me problem and more my dog's problem. He just seems to get scared by it when it goes off as it makes a sort of mechanical noise as water is being pumped, but I do not think it is very loud. For me, when I am in a different room I cannot hear it when it goes off.

I've used this for a few weeks now and love it. Reliable, and insanely easy to set up. Programming is easy, and the mist is really nice. I set mine up hooked up to gallon jugs. The sprayers do drip after misting, but no other connections leak. This isn't a problem as the enclosures I use them in are large enough where some water drops in the substrate aren't a big deal at all. Bought them for 30 each, which I think is a fair price!

We set this up in our frog enclosure and it has worked without a hitch. No leaks in the lines or misters after setup, be sure to make flat cuts in the tubing because it is sensitive to any rough edges. It never fails to run. Compare this to other systems and you can’t go wrong. This is a lot less than those Canadian systems who have started charging Americans a surcharge, on top of tariffs. This systems is not quiet but much quieter than those systems that cost hundreds and still don’t have everything you need. I’ve been running this for six months and I have no issues. The design is simple and it is so easy to set up. The thing I like most is the mist is super fine. Great for humidity with making things soggy. Frogs and plants have thrived since we put this in.

Great misting system, especially considering how cheap it is. I bought 5 of these, and at over a year later, 4 of the 5 still work well, and the malfunctioning one might have been might fault. Anyways, these are really easy to set up and use, decent mist quality, and last a long time considering the price. It also comes with back up parts, such as extra filters and nozzles, which is helpful. Noise is average, some noise, not a lot. I use filtered water to ensure they last longer, even better if you have distilled water on hand. You will need to replace the nozzles and water filters every so often to ensure they continue working, if you don't, it will stop working on you a lot faster. Pro tips for troubleshooting: -Ensure you have the tubing in correct spot. Water filter tubing should be in the "IN" spot of the pump. It won't work otherwise. Easy to fix mistake. -Check the nozzles (silver piece). If the misting system is not spraying, it is often a nozzle issue. Tighten/loosen nozzle to see if that helps, if not, completely replace the nozzle, as rust and built up sediment can cause it not to spray. -Replace water filters every so often. -Check for kinks in the tubing -If the pump is not vibrating, and you can't feel any water running through the tubes, it is likely a pump issue and needs to be replaced. When it is working, it vibrates. Another way to confirm is to pull the tubing out of o rings after attempting to get it to spray. When pulling the tubing out, if water is successfully being pulled from the water reservoir, the tubing once unplugged should spray water and make a mess. If no water is coming out of the pump's o rings and tubing, it is likely a pump issue, or one of the issues mentioned above. One final suggestion, try not to have your misting system working against gravity. If you have your cages above the misting system and water reservoir, it is going to put much more strain on the machine, and will likely wear out faster (this is likely what happened to mine). Super easy to use, works really well for my veiled chameleon. The extra tubing is awesome too, in case I wanna switch up the layout of my terrarium or maybe change terrariums. Highly recommend

I now have 9 of these misters and they all work great! I love how I can use any water container I want. I have all of my animals on shelving units and I have tanks of different sizes so some of the water containers are milk gallons, half gallons, and even 2 liter bottles. I love how I can program how often and how much water comes out at a time. This is one of the main selling points for me because I use these on my ball pythons, my boas, and my blue tounge skink. All of those animals need very different humidity requirements and this mister is able to provide for all of them! It was getting kind of overwhelming having to spray everybody at their set schedules, but now that everything is automated I can use that time that I save to do other things. I did have one mister break and it just started spraying with our stopping but thankfully there was only a quarter gallon left and I seal all of my tanks with hot glue so no water leaks out. Denise, my ball python got a bath though. I reached out to customer service, ans they immediately reached out and gave me troubleshooting tips and then sent me a whole new auto mister setup when I only asked for the pump! I will be buying more pumps soon.

Super easy to set up and super effective to use

I read a ton of reviews and watched a fair number of youtube videos before purchasing. I read the instructions that came with the unit, and got it set up fairly easily. The nozzles do leak a bit, but not enough to cause an issue - I have a pond in my enclosure and a false bottom. Once you get the tubes placed correctly (Watch a few videos! Its fussy to get them seated properly!) its worked perfectly. I had one leak in testing and that was due to a tube seated incorrectly. The timing settings are odd, and confusing. Once youve got the hang of it though they work perfectly. Ive had the tank set up and running with the sprayers for over 6 months now, and no issues at all. Just be detail oriented when you set it up, and plan for a bit of nozzle dripping after each spray. This was much better more affordable and useful than buying the other systems available, for my single tank. Docked a star for finicky setup and confusing timing. Otherwise, I love it. Id absolutely purchase again if needed and have already recommended this unit to others.
