Saved me from sledge hammering my frame in anger
The product is a bit pricey, probably there are others that may accomplish the same for cheaper, but my support goes to the original geniuses that created this amazing tool.I have a handle bar with internal routing that was a royal pain to route both brake and shifter cables (looking at you 3T). After several very frustrating hours I decided to order this kit and the routing was a breeze. The magnets are incredibly strong and can easily be used to route cables thru the frame, seat stay, under bottom bracket and etc.For the dreaded cable housing pair, I ended up taping the two together with electrical tape and using the tools provided in this kit to pull them both at the same time. One of their provided cables can thread onto the cable housing with amazing grip, making it a breeze to simultaneously pull both cables through in the very first attempt. I almost feel like building another bike now.

Works as intended, but still not easy
This kit is a must-have for routing internal cables. It makes the process much easier than trying to fish cables through manually. However, still be warned that it is not an easy process especially if your frame has weird shapes that make it difficult to route through. It will likely take several attempts to get the cable all the way through without getting hung up in the frame or the magnet losing its connection. Also additional tip: make extra sure the barb on the guide is firmly attached inside the cable you are routing. If the guide pops out while the cable is midway through the frame it can get really frustrating.Overall I would not want to route cables without this. I think it’s a little expensive for what it is but that’s what you pay for Park Tool quality.

Worth every penny
It's expensive as others have said, but if you want your cables routed correctly, instead of zip-tied or duct-taped to the outside of the frame of your bike, this kit is essential. And as others have said, you'l have cables routed in less than a minute. Get it, don't think twice about it.

Expensive? Yes. Too expensive? Maybe. Massive time and effort saver? Absolutely
They're cables. They're thin enough to fit inside your bike. You push them in and they chase a magnet. To be honest, if I was doing mechanical cabling, I'm not sure I'd absolutely need this. If you buy a frame, ask if it's already tubed for brake cables - if it is, you probably don't need this. However - if you're building a bike with internal Shimano Di2 routing, this tool is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL if you don't want to get extremely frustrated. The Di2 cabling is floppy and resistant to being fed through the frame. This has a wire specifically for Di2 cabling. This absolutely kept me from destroying my frame in frustration trying to feed my cabling through the downtube, handlebars, chainstay, and seat tube. Simple as feed it one way through the frame with the magnet, attach your E-Tube cable, and pull it back out the other side. No fishing for cables or wondering where the other end is.Bottom line, if you're building a bike with Di2, JUST GET IT.

Super easy to use, though expensive for infrequent use
I purchased this to run a new rear derailleur di2 cable because I snapped one when replacing my seat tube.Pros:-So helpful that it's basically a must-have if you're running new cables yourself.Cons:-Expensive-Does NOT support the newer, thinner SD300 Di2 cables. I made it work with some tape, but the cables don't click in to the connectors the same way they do with the thicker Di2 connectors from 2021 & prior. I contacted Park Tool about this and they couldn't commit to future support, but strongly suggested that they were working on it. Time will tell.Tips:-It wasn't clear to me at first that your'e meant to use two cables for each routing endeavor. Run one cable from each termination point, magnet end first, and mate the two cables inside the frame. The magnets are strong enough to then pull through to one of the termination points. Like I said, this is obvious after having done it a few times, but I didn't see it in any videos that I watched.

Pays for itself
Swapped brakes on a bike and needed it to get the job done.Local bike shop was charging $60/brake installed, so I payed half of that, learned how to do it and now I have the tools and know how if I need to repeat it in the future.Well worth the price.

A lifesaver when you need it
I don't always need a kit to route cables and hoses internally. I'm not a shop after all. But, when you need it, this kit is a life saver and saves money over having a local shop do the work.

Way more handy than you would think
This is on the surface, one of those “special tools” that you buy and use once and then never use again. But that simply is not the case if you have the slightest bit of DIYer in you. These things works so freaking well, I’ll be using them when I work on my vehicles and anything else I can think of.One side of my swing arm is nearly a no go for cable housings. This tool makes it possible without me loosing control of my blood pressure. SO thankful I bought it.Read the instructions or watch ParkTools cool how to videos on YouTube….great videos

Pricy, but worth it if you are cable changing.
I bought this kit as an insurance in case the ‘quick job’ I needed to do on my bike went wrong. It did! But this kit was perfect. Got me out of the hole quicker than I’d even hoped for.Like most Park tools, it felt quite pricy, but was well worth the money in sheer man hours. I’m glad to now have one in my tool box.
