Diamond Candy Women's Waterproof Rain Jacket with Hood Lightweight Outdoors Raincoat

I really pondered over correct size per the size chart which showed my size to be a small, but I gambled and ordered medium. I am just under 5' tall and also wanted to wear a fleece under this jacket later when its cooler. The medium is perfect, body length to cover the butt, even sleeve length. I love the color, charcoal gray with rich teal. The fabric is really beautiful, soft and drap-ey, not stiff or noisy, with velcro adjustable cuffs, and zip off hood is a plus, tho' I will probably leave mine on. There are 3 zippered pockets and one deep inside pocket, no zipper. I haven't been out in a downpour yet as to whether material is waterproof. I expect it will be just fine. I have some quality water repellent dip I can use when I can use my washer. Right now I am enjoying it as is, with fast delivery from my awesome Amazon driver! It comes in a quality re-usable zip top bag.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a RAIN jacket to keep me dry! First I bought the pink in a Medium (I’m 5’8”, 150) and LOVED it! However, I can wear it comfortably with a thin shirt and it fits great. I kept the pink! I ordered another jacket in the bright green in a size Large so I could wear it with a sweater. It’s perfect! For the cost of the 2 jackets, it was still less expensive than the big name brand jackets. Love the colors, quality and style! (The back of the jacket dips down a bit).

I bought this for a cruise to Alaska in June. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. It was perfect for the rainstorm I got stuck in and kept me completely dry. I bought a medium and I’m 5’4” and 140 lbs and it was the perfect size to fit over sweaters. One day in AK was very cold and windy and this worked as the perfect wind breaker and kept me toasty warm. It packs so flat and easy that you don’t think it will keep you warm but it was perfect.

Overall, a nice water REPELLANT jacket that is fleece lined and plenty of pockets inside and out, but is not waterproof as advertised. I wore in a regular rain shower for 15 minutes just walking and when I came inside, the back and shoulder areas had some wetness on the inside. Heading to Alaska and needed waterproof jacket so I did send this back sadly.

This jacket was a good fit and felt genuinely wind and waterproof. The hood provided adequate head coverage. I also liked the color and all of the pockets. Despite feeling like a good quality item, I ended up going with something different purely because of a design preference.

Good quality! I purchased this jacket for a trip to Norway and it was very useful since it rained most of the time and the jacket was perfect. It even helped with the cold weather (40’s and 50’s) since it has a lining in the inside. I just had to add a sweater and that was it. I never got wet when it rained. The length was to my hips. Material was very sturdy and many pockets.

Love it! It is a little warm, so may not be great for a hot summer rainfall. It is sturdy, fits well, and definitely kept me dry on a rainy camping trip.

Bought this because I was in a golf tournament and the forecast was pure rain so I needed something waterproof. This jacket exceeded all expectations. It is completely waterproof any stylish, I get a ton of compliments every time i wear it (I bought the bright pink). It runs a tad big (if you are between sizes I would size down) and it's slightly heavier than I would have preferred, but there are many days when I will appreciate the weight, I'm sure. I have since worn it in the rain going from the car to my destination and I consider it a great value for the money.
