How do you change the mop head?

You simply use a long Phillips screwdriver, remove 4 screws, then mop head is removed and replaced. Put screws back on and ready to go. Takes 5 minutes. Better than the slide-on type of mop refills. Sold for over 25 years by our company Thank you for considering this product for purchase!

will the screws eventually rust and not unscrew? i had a similar mop this happened to

I've had my super mop for over 8 years. Yes, the screws will rust, but it took several years. I replaced mine with stainless steel screws I purchased at lowe's. If I ever have to buy a new super mop handle, I'll immediately replace them with stainless. Great mop. I order straight from the company.

How long is the handle when fully extended?

The telescopic handle measures (when fully extended) from the tip of the sponge to the top of the handle: approximately 55.5". If you need a longer handle, we sell an optional mop handle that is about 24" longer when fully extended. The optional handle is sold on our wesbite and not offered through Amazon.
