Worked as it should. Hardware store even cut key for free. Programming was a breeze.

I was having issues with my car no crank no starting. My old key would work on occasion so I figured I needed a new fob and I was right. No .ore starting issues. All the buttons work as they should and haven't had a problem since getting them. It's been about a month or so and working flawlessly

Bought this to replace my key fob for my 2016 chevy trax ltz and it worked beautifully. All I did was push out the pin and use the key off my old fob and put it in the new fob. Programming it was easy. I just turned the key to on and left for ten minutes three seperate time and turned off then on then off again and it cranked right up. Much better than paying a dealership $300.

The item functions as intended but is not an exact replica. I was hoping to be able to just swap my key instead of getting one copied but the original key is a little thicker so the fob wouldn’t close on it. I stilled avoided having to make a copy by just shaving the end of the key down with my metal belt sander, but if i didn’t have this tool I would have been painfully filing the key by hand or going to a locksmith to have a copy made since a simple swap is not possible. Programming was easy though and no issues yet with functionality. Will probably get this again if I decide I need more copies.

These are great! Perfect match as the originals. Incredibly easy to program in my 2015 Camaro. Did it myself. Very reasonable price as well.

I purchase this item base that it looked just like the one that I had and it seemed to have good reviews. But I could not program it after trying. The methods that were told to me by the links that they sent me and I looked on youtube to see if I could find somebody to help me out with it. I finally gave up on it and decided to call a professional, and they said they could do it. But I'm attempting to do it.The car would not start unless I installed it into the center. Console slot and as I exit the car. And close the door it would not chirp. To let me know that I. Left the keys in the car. It cost me $220 for the person to get it to work. The best that he could, he said either the transmitter would not work a 100% with my car. Or there is something wrong with the translator. Amazon said to return it, but the units have already been altered to work with my car to the best that it can. I could have sent the item back as Amazon explain. But I didn't know that if it was me. Or the item I took the chance. And decided to get a professional and now amazon said the best I can do is refund me for this translators. I mean the car is relatively new and to have to go through this kind of process to go to get it to start by putting it in the slot in the center console and it does not chirp to alert you that you left. The keys in the car is very disappointing.

These work great! Used for my 2016 Chevy equinox. Had the keys cut at Ace Hardware and then used the original key to turn the car on (but not start), waited 10 seconds and took it out, then put this one in and turned it on, waited 10 seconds and took it out and it was programmed!

Buttons on one of my original fobs fell off; the other had a bent key. Hardware store cut new fob keys for $5 each. Clerk offered to transfer chip boards for me but had hard time opening both original fob & new fob. Eventually got chip board transferred in one; however, unlock button would not work (probably damaged in transfer). He had difficulty trying to open other original fob so just programmed other new one for me, and it works great. I tried opening other original fob with no luck. Other new fob also very hard to open plus metal for holding battery fell out & broke when I tried to put it back in, making 2nd new fob useless. Have ordered new fobs from another vendor with programming instructions included. Hopefully they won't be as hard to open as these were. Battery changing in the only working fob will no doubt be a pain when the time comes!
