Gator Cases Creative Pro Series Nylon Carry Tote Bag for Apple iMac Desktop Computer; Fits 21.5" and 24" model (G-CPR-IM21)

I got the 21” case for my 2021 iMac 24” hoping it would fit. Popped it in and fits like a glove! I wasn’t sure if getting a MacBook or iMac as I want to use it for work and home. This case is perfect and very portable.

Let me just state right off the bat that I will be keeping this case (tote, as they call it), but mainly because there are few other options. This case looks incredible, has all the right pockets in all the right places, is constructed well, and fits the 27" iMac very nicely for transportation.That said, my issue is with the 'hood' portion. Inside of the front flap material is only a thin piece of foam (likely) and it should be a solid and sturdy piece of plastic so it can span the distance without hanging down into the viewer's line-of-sight. In order to remedy this, I have to put something on top of the display to help hold it up, otherwise I'll just use the computer outside of the case—defeating half the purpose of the overall design in the first place. This portion is the smooth grey part that has the logo on it; it's the 'flap' on the front when zipped-up. All that needs to happen is a more rigid material sewn inside of it in that one section.After several emails with a very nice customer service rep, it became very apparent to me that the design team could care less about the issue. I wasn't even asking for a new bag, I just wanted acknowledgment of how this design was an oversight and they'll fix it on a Version 2. No such luck.Again, this case really does check all the boxes in all the right places (except one), and it will look super PRO to arrive carrying my iMac in such a case. But the one design flaw is big enough to drop my rating to a 3, and sadly I will not be able to work with my computer in the case, as that hood will be very bothersome. It'll be a 'carrying case' and nothing more.

So I love this case. Very protective. Well thought-out. Easy to use. It is bulky but so is your iMac. It solves a problem and the quality is obviously terrific. Good price point also. I only write below comments as suggestions on how it could be EVEN BETTER....in case the manufacturer happens to read these.1. don't need the rear pocket. iMac only requires cord, keyboard, mouse. All of these fit inside the case underneath the iMac. Could get rid of the rear pocket which would slim down the overall size. Provide a cushioned/zippered pouch for accessories to go in the bag.2. Heat issue: it does get warm in the case during use. You can solve this by folding the small top flap over towards the back of the bag. Heat rises and will dissipate. You will lose the "shade" or cover provided by the flap but no big deal.3. Front flap of the bag folds down and lays in front of the unit. It's kind of in the way. You can hang part of it off your desk (still in the way) or fold it back so that some of it lays under the actual case. This seems the best but then the entire unit is tilted upwards which doesn't feel natural when looking at the screen. Solution: redesign the bag so the front flap hinges from the top. Then during use, it would fold over towards the back and away from the user.I would still highly recommend this carry case to anyone who travels or carries their iMac to work.

So so dope! I have a 21.5in iMac and this case is literally EVERYTHING!! I have flown six times with it so far and my computer has not gotten damaged while in this case. I am still sure to have the airline place a "fragile" sticker on it, to prevent them throwing it around, but this has worked like a charm. The additional (removable) Velcro pads that come packaged in the case also help.Surprise #1: There are zippers on the sides of the case so that your power cable can pull through and you can plug up your computer... this means that you don't even have to take it out of the case to power it on and use it.Surprise #2: There is additional breathing space behind the computer (if your comp is sitting inside the case)... what this means is that if you have USB cables connected, mini ext hardrives, adapters, etc. they can remain plugged into the back of your computer even if you close it up and travel.I am extremely happy with this purchase. It also makes you look soo official and is a wow factor when opening it up to others. Dope dope DOPE!

This is exactly what I was looking for in a case for my iMac! My favorite thing is that you don't have to remove in order to use - as well as the convenient shoulder strap! This was a function I was really pleased with as it's easier for me to keep my hands free.It's stylish enough to look professional, but casual enough for discreet travel. This case will give me peace of mind wherever I want to transport it safely. This way, most people will think it's a basic piece of luggage instead of a colorful, appealing to steal desktop. :)I was very happy to find someone that provides a secure and quality solution most people don't have a need for!

As a designer (architect) myself I appreciate the design thinking that went into the making of the Gator Case for 27” iMac. Simply put, it does what it supposed to do, protect an expensive computer for transit. The tuff fabric, ample pockets and quick velcro pads set the Gator apart from other cases. I completely trust my iMac in this case. Thanks to whomever designed this and saw it through production!

WOOOOOW. I read many of the other reviews and finally went with this one. Boy am I happy I did. This thing saves SO much time on a shoot. Before a shoot, I'll stage all my tether cables/ hard drives/ calibrator/ etc. behind the thunderbolt display and leave it all plugged in during transport so when I show up to a shoot, I just unzip and its ready to go. Works perfectly. It's nice knowing that every accessory is right there in the case and that something didn't somehow get left behind in a backpack. Super convenient. Solid build. VERY well thought out design. Good job Gator! Exactly what I was looking for.

This is brilliant. I love it. I have had it for quite a few months and it gets quite a bit of use with my 27" Mac. It takes the iMac, keyboard, mouse, Wacom tablet, 2 portable hard drives, cables, etc. In fact it takes so much that it gets heavy to lift, but it still does the job. It offers good protection and has a sturdy back, the interior is padded and covered with black material with two foam inserts to support the bottom edge of the screen.Overall I cant fault it, but it would be nice if it wasn't quite so pricey. I feel sometimes that because an item is for an Apple product then the price has a bit of an uplift for the sake of it. Having said that, I do love it. It is well thought out, well made, looks good and does what it is supposed to do.

I have spent too long on deciding wether to go for this high priced carry case or the cheaper alternatives. Finally I decided to go for this one as I didn't want a case which revealed what I was carrying. As a technician, I carry 27" & 21.5" iMacs all the time. I went for the 27" case which also works well with the 21.5" iMac. This saves me buying a separate one for the 21.5" iMac. I would highly recommend this top class carry case.

Ok I researched my purchase and chose this bag, I did wright its the best on the market top quality and so well made and a must if you are thinking of transporting you Imaq.

Excellent product. Very well made, holds the iMac perfectly and I didn’t need to remove it to operate on site. The pockets are useful and well thought out too. Easily enough space for all accessories in one place.
