Air Intake Hose Compatible with 1999-2004 Nissan Frontier and 2000-2004 Nissan Xterra V6 3.3L- Intake Filter Tube Replaces # 16578-4S100 - Air Intake Duct Tube Boot

Part fit perfectly for my 2012 Nissan Altima SL. Kept getting "service engine soon" msg on the dashboard. Used OBD code reader to diagnose issue (P0101 Mass Air Flow Sensor or MAF) . After replacing the air filter, then the MAF sensor and erasing the code twice, I kept getting the service engine msg. I finally discovered the air in-take hose had a crack causing excess air flow to the engine. Ordered the new air in-take hose, it arrived the next day and I was able to easily replace the part. No more engine code. The part is a very good quality. Comparable to the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts. The only small issue was the hose clamps were on the wrong ends making it impossible to screw due to the angle, so I had to switch them around to face outward (easy fix).

Easy install. Good quality. Perfect fit. Only advice, reorient the clamps before putting it in place. I had to remove it, as the clamps were on backwards.

A perfect replacement for the OEM boot on my 2012 Nissan Altima. Old boot had a slight crack or two, causing the Mass Air Flow alarm to trip. This was the fix. Only took about 20 min to replace. Had to turn two of the metal fasteners around so they could be tightened after installation, but other than it went right on easily. Great purchase.
