Q: Can you hit the ps3 button to update console if connected?

If by “update” console you mean “connect” to the console then technically yes. But I have two of these and found that the buttons randomly stop working on both of them.

Q: Does this have Bluetooth compatibility for Steam Deck?

I don't have a Stream Deck so I can't answer with 100% certainty, But the documentation indicates it will. see this excerpt; '🎮【Wide Compatibility】 gaming controller supports PC (Windows XP/7/8/8.1/10), PS3, Steam, Android (version 4.0 or above, the device must fully support OTG function)'. Hopefully someone else can give you a 100% answer. Good luck.

Q: Got mine synced right away with USB cable but they will not stay connected once unplugged, after a few days charging. What am i missing?

I haven't had that problem. I did look around on the web for this issue. The only thing I found was that the battery in the controller may be loose and not connecting properly. If you noticed the controller disconnecting while playing but is fine just sitting then this may be the issue. If that is the case during shipment it may have happened, and you will want to see if you can swap it out with them. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
