MUST HAVE adapter for Tesla owners (Just in case)
Worked PERFECTLY! Absolutely no issues using an Electrify America charging station with my Tesla. This adapter has a little weight to it meaning it feels like a quality build. I've driven from Leander, Texas to Sioux Falls, S.D. and back in my Model Y Performance. I've taken a road trip from Austin, Texas to Showlow, AZ to Phoenix, AZ and back. (THE ADAPTER WAS NEEDED IN SHOWLOW AZ-ONLY CHARGING STATION THERE) Prepare yourself with the correct adapters and you'll never fear long roadtrips again in a Tesla!

Excellent Way to Charge your Tesla (or NACS EV) in an Emergency Low-Battery Situation
With this adapter, I was able to successfully connect my Tesla to a CCS charger from ChargePoint, and charge the batteries. This device opens up a wide range of non-Tesla chargers for when I am traveling. However, one caution is that in my (admittedly limited) experience, each one of these non-Tesla chargers requires you to download and use their proprietary app, which is a major inconvenience. There is no charge-and-go version I have yet found, and none that even take a credit card like a gas station does. I'll be happy to learn differently, but that's my experience so far.

**Reliable and Well-Built Adapter — A Must-Have for Road Trips**
Certainly! Here's a more polished and professional version of your product review:---I purchased this adapter for a recent trip where Superchargers weren’t available for my 2024 Model Y Long Range. I used it twice at Blink fast charging stations, and it performed flawlessly both times. The build quality feels solid, and considering the price, it’s an excellent value. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable fast-charging alternative.

Opens up your Tesla charging network any supercharger.
A bit heavy and hard to hold onto but this adapter has opened up my charging world to non-Tesla superchargers.Jersey Girls don’t pump gas. It’s been comical wrangling a very heavy supercharger cable and been an education for me.For this unit it works best to plug the adapter onto the charging cable and then insert the narrower end into the Tesla charging port. I did it the opposite way the first attempt and the connection was not solid. Plus you don’t want to break off that thin retracting stick either. When I tried to remove the CCS adaptor I could not and thought it was stuck. To release the adapter from the cable there is a button on the cable handle.Remember items heavy so keep a good grip on it.

Works!
I charged Model Y for about 20 minutes at about 71kwh speed. When I took it out, it was so hot to touch. I felt unsafe to put it into the foam case as it might catch on fire so I drove home for about 15 minutes. It's still hot but not as bad as it was. NACS part was a lot hotter than CCS1 part so I put it in the case but exposing the NACS part out of the case as I'm still worried that this might catch on fire.

Adapter failed to work in 21 charging attempts
Warning: Either this product was defective this design does not work with Chargepoint or Electrify America. On day 1, we made 13 attempts to charge on three different Chargepoint units that were working. National Chargepoint said they would reboot the ENTIRE SITE and we could come back the next day. Five more attempts there failed. So then we went to EA and tried various units. All failed in precisely the same manner as CP units -- lack of communication with the chargers or lack of adequate contact at the adapter. Maybe it was this ONE adapter.

Works with my Tesla 3
Recently, my car stopped charging quickly. I thought maybe it was the cold weather but now I’m thinking that it’s this new charger adapter. I’m wondering if others have the same concerns I’m getting about 10 mi/hr in 30F weather. Would like to hear what others are getting.UPDATE: I broke down and bought a charger adapter from Tesla. It’s just as slow. It must be the cold weather. So, I think this charger is just fine.

Great product with great quality
Works perfectly. No issues with overheating or melting or anything like that. Used it on a 1700 mile road trip at locations where there were no Tesla superchargers. CCS (DC Fast) charges just as fast.
