These guys are gaining a good reputation and so I decided to purchase from them rather than the usual vendor I use because their price was lower and the quality seems just as good. Spermidine is a natural polyamine that animal studies have shown stimulates autophagy, a process that recycles cellular components and may have anti-aging effects. Spermidine levels decline with aging, and some studies suggest that increasing spermidine intake with food or supplements may improve health and longevity. However, there are very few human studies using spermidine 10 milligrams as a supplement. I found only one clinical trial that used this dose in 100 older adults for 90 days to test its effect on memory and cognitive decline. The results were not very impressive, as there was no significant difference between the spermidine group and the placebo group on any of the cognitive tests. Another clinical trial is currently recruiting participants to test the metabolic responses to spermidine supplementation at doses of 5 or 10 milligrams per day for 12 weeks.The aim is to measure changes in biomarkers related to inflammation, oxidative stress, mitochondrial function, autophagy and aging. Therefore, it seems that more research is needed to establish the optimal dose and duration of spermidine supplementation for humans, as well as its safety and efficacy for various health outcomes. But there is a lot of interest from legitimate researchers, because the non-human studies look so promising. It's typical that the early studies on mice don't directly translate, but there wouldn't be a lot of activity researching the potential if there wasn't real evidence that there is real potential! Great supplement, lot of health benefits..

This works but I really want to know how much actual spermidine is in this product. I have used DoNotAge.orgs spermidine and this one and they both are very effective as far as the difference I see. With both of these products I see my skin firming and wrinkles minimizing within a week, literally. I have a question about the actual amount of spermidine in these spermidine capsules. The question I have is too long to post in the questions segment..so I will post it in a review: I have been taking these for a while now and I like them but I wanted to get some information so I could get an accurate idea of how much spermidine is in each capsule. I emailed the company this information: Please let me know if the below is correct regarding amount of spermidine per 2 capsule serving:From what I understand, it looks like the product you have in your capsules is spermidine trihydrochloride which has a chemical formula of: C7H19N3·3HCl and a molecular weight of 254.63 g/mol. Spermidine has a chemical formula of C7H19N3 and has a molecular weight of 145.2459 g/mol. So for any given amount of Spermidine HCL, the actual weight of the spermidine is only going to be 57% and the remaining 43% weight is due to the 3HCL. So this would lead me to believe that since you have 10mg of Spermidine HCL in each serving, that the actual amount of spermidine in each 2 capsules is only 5.7mg and the amount of the 3HCL is 4.3mg. Is this correct? If this is the case, it would be very helpful if you could list the actual amount of spermidine in your capsules, instead of just listing the weight for the spermidine 3HCL. Since the actual amount of spermidine found in spermidine 3HCL is only 57% or 5.7mg per every 10mg

This is made in China! I got this for my husband for a Christmas gift and he loves it. It is beautiful leather but when he opened it up, there was a tiny little tag that says made in China! The descriptions make it sound like it is an Italian product.

This gave me a rash, like psoriasis on my fingers. I have to believe it is because the product contains gluten. As soon as I stopped taking it, the rash disappeared. I noticed NO positive effects. Would not recommend.

No difference after 4 weeks. Not sure how you gauge effectiveness.
