A+ for 2012 ram 1500. Great replacements over stock
Great product. I installed these on a 2012 ram 1500 with H11 bulbs. The beam is bright white at ordered and resembles the same coverage area as the stock halogen bulbs but shine farther and brighter over that area. I personally adjusted the angle of the headlights and have not been flashed by other motorists or pulled over by any cops. The only complaint I have isn't really a complaint. I noticed upon installing and testing the lights that one of the fans on one light was slightly louder and seemed to spin faster than the other. But it doesn't seem to affect performance.Fan noise is only audible when there is no other noise at all. I'm talking dead silent living in the middle of nowhere silent. It's not a problem at all.For those who are installing these in a 2012 ram 1500: I did have to use the capacitor in the installation. Make sure you test if you need them or not by starting the engine. The altinator is what can cause flickering. The instructions tell you to test for flickering during installation. Test by starting the engine. I did not have to use the resistors. No error codes were thrown by the ecu. Although I would recommend purchasing them as they are cheap in comparison to the headlight alone and you never really know what new vehicle computers will do.You will not be disappointed with these headlights. I was skeptical for awhile. Just make sure you know how to adjust the angle of your headlights as I had to after putting these in.Easiest way to do this is to park facing a wall. Turn the lights on. Mark the top of the beam with duct tape. Do the installation. Turn the light on. And adjust up or down. I would recommend checking over a distance as well. Park facing an area that is long and flat. Lights on measure the height of the top of beam right in front of headlight. Then walk 30 feet or so in front of the car/truck and make sure the top of the beam is lower than it was right in front of the headlight. There are many videos on YouTube to help with this.SEPTEMBER 2018 UPDATE!Been over a year since I put these in with no issues what so ever. Survived one of the most brutal winters we have had in Louisiana in a long time. Cant say how many hours they have been used. Its a lot. Half if not more of my driving miles are done at night and I average about 10K to 12K miles a year. Mostly on backwoods 2 lane roads so they have definitely been put through their paces. Just as bright as day one and since I properly adjusted the headlight angle when I installed them, I am yet to have someone flash their brights at me.

Noticeably Bright, but peculiarly not annoying!!!
The Fluxbeam LED is in your face good! If your looking for impact this delivers. I have a 2011 Chevy Traverse with halogen housing and this works perfectly. One reviewer said that it should work fine in any housing and I have to agree. It doesn't make any sense that it wouldn't work considering that the led light projects light towards the same area as the oem halogen bulb does in the housing. The results should be that you get the same pattern but just brighter and whiter. My experience has been that LED is really bright, but much easier on the eyes then HID. When I look directly into the headlights it is bright but not enough for me to feel bothered. I notice that pedestrians don't seem to be squinting or sharing their eyes when I drive past them in neighborhoods. The LED light seems wider and more diffused when compared with HID lights. It also seems to shoot high but no one seems to mind. It illuminates really far, I would say as far a highbeams. These LEDs illuminates much wider as well. I would compare HIDs to be like a super bright beam of light targeting a concentrated space down towards the front of the car. The LEDs are more like your headlights except super white and on 10x steroids. I use to use the sylvannias silver stars but got tired of mediocre performance and having to change them every 6 months. Compared to the silver stars, I would say the LEDs are literally 10x better. One thing about these LEDs is that they are white and make the street signs glow white like they are going to assend into heaven or like GOD has blessed them. It's pretty crazy. I highly recommend these lights. I have used them now in most weather conditions. I have driven past police, pedestrians and incoming traffic without any reaction from them. I have not received a single headlight flash or any reaction that would indicate that these lights are beyond drivers expectations of acceptable brightness. in terms of brightness I would say they are noticeably bright but peculiarly not annoying.

I am VERY pleased of how this product performs
Installation with using all the different connections could have used more directions, & 1 of the harnesses seems to be malfunctioning. I wrapped some electrical tape around it, & it seems to be working. But other than that, I am VERY pleased of how this product performs!UPDATED REVIEW as of 4/4/2018 : I contacted support directly through the OPT-7.com website using the chat box in the lower right hand corner. I provided my Amazon Order number & Salvador, the representative was able to look up my order, verify that the lights are within their 2 year warranty, & started a warranty replacement request to replace the bulb & wiring for a side. Salvadore was very helpful & prompt is resolving the issue. I received an email 2 days later saying that the request was approved, & that the package would be shipped. I received the replacement parts about a week from my initial contact, I installed the replacement parts, & have not had a single problem thus far, it's been a week, lol. I was very pleased with the customer support that I received with the replacement issue. I will buy again from OPT-7!
