What size mat should I buy for a girl 48" tall?

I got the large for my 10 year old that is over 48 inches and it was way to big for him- hope that helps!

Would the small be too small for my 6 year old?

I don't know. I bought the XL for a 10 year old girl (average size) last year. It was a bit big at first but she got used to it within a couple tries. If you are questioning to get small versus medium, I might be inclined to get the one she will grow into.

Is this made with pvc or pu? also does this have flame retardants?
