Yes, that is where it is plugged in. If you haven't purchased this yet, I would suggest you look into AirFly which is the same concept and then you can pair it with your earbuds. Also, it works on the airplane--just plug it into the earphone jack, put in your earbuds, and listen. No wires to tangle!
