Perfect Solution: Worked As Advertised
This unit performs exactly as advertised. I currently have 6 sources feeding in and using 15 of the 16 outputs. All of the receivers have worked with no issues. I made custom Cat5e runs and when a receiver would not turn it was caused by a bad connector termination of the cat5e. After putting on a new connector the receiver worked perfectly. There are no delays between the HDMI and Ethernet outputs.I installed the unit in a rack within my A/V closet. The closet is not deep so I reverse installed the unit so I would have access to the HDMI connectors and Cat5e at the rear. Only feedback would be to allow the rackmount kit to be installed in the rear for these applications. I used the External IR port in the back to control with the remove from the closed (only downside is that i am not able to see the LED display). This was a solution I had been looking for at a price significantly cheaper than most high end A/V dealers.UPDATE (12/6/2017): Since I bought this unit I decided to take advantage of it's capabilities and brought in directv just for football season to have Sunday ticket. I had 3 FIOS STBs for local CBS, FOX and Redzone, 4xDirectTV boxes and an Apple TV with Sunday Ticket App. This allowed 7 games each Sunday with Redzone Channel simultaneously across a wall of 8 TVs plus 4 additional TVs spread out through my basement. On Saturdays I was able to watch every major College Football game while watching the Celtics and/or Bruins play. When I finished my basement to be a sports room in 2008 (I hate the term Man Cave) this was the ideal end state I had dreamed of. In addition to fitting my sports viewing needs I used one of the remote receivers, ran 200 feet of cat5 in to my backyard and connected it to a projector for the family to watch movies by the firepit in the Fall. I could control my fios STB via the FIOS app so I did not need to be inside the house.Recently I installed a crestron controller and the scripts provided allow me to connect to the matrix through the crestron app so I can now control cable boxes and matrix through iPhone apps.Working with No Hassle AV has been fantastic, they are very responsive and have answers to all of my technical questions.

BUYER BEWARE!!
Product worked great for first 1-1/2 to 2 yrs, just under 3 weeks ago, the Matrix stopped working, no video or audio at all. I went online and attempted the troubleshooting FAQ's, none worked, also followed the Get product support link on Amazon.com, no luck. This is where the problem really began, I have reached out to No Hassle AV numerous times, attempted 4 or 5 phone calls, message left, no response. Also sent a text to the number on their website, no response. Next, I sent an e-mail with a CC to Amazon customer service which finally generated a response from Alex on 4-18-25, first calls were made back on 4-12-25, 6 days of phone calls, a text message and e-mail. It is my experience the customer support is non-existent from No Hassle AV. BUYER BEWARE; this product worked great out of the box for a period of time. When a problem developed, I followed the guidance on the Amazon support page as well as the info from No Hassle AV website and nothing worked. When I reached out to No Hassle AV, my attempts to reach them were ignored. I spent $2,200.00 for this unit, which is basically an expensive paper weight, spending this kind of money one would expect a good product as well as some tech support. I think my experience with No Hassle AV warrants a 1-Star review!! Hey Amazon, is there anything you can do to help a 20+ year customer??"

Excellent Solution
Does exactly what’s it says it will do. Perfect hdmi matrix solution. Implemented with 8 sources and 12 TVs. Have a mix of AV Receivers and ceiling speakers and a wide variety of TVs from 4k to older 1080p. Easy to connect, setup and program. EDID management was a cake walk. One fifth the price of the big companies. Worth every penny.

Simply works!
We have used various Video Matrix Boxes from leaf, control4, and some high-end products. This is one of the most functional and easy-to-use products and comes with easy integration with most control systems. The RS232 integration is superb. I have made it my first Choice product and will use it for every one of my projects going forward. It works! I recommend it for anyone looking for a functional system.

Great matrix... but no HDR support
So, a little context... I had a new home built with CAT6 and speaker wiring everywhere all coming back to a single location where I have centralized my wiring and equipment into a 44U AV rack. I placed dual CAT6 jacks everywhere that I wanted to place a TV... 8 locations to be exact. This matrix was an awesome device for my implementation.... the value is great for what you get (which includes everything you possibly need). So far, I get excellent video quality (4k with 60hz) with my DirecTV boxes, Roku Ultra, etc... I was able to add the matrix as a device to my Logitech Harmony hubs and use dedicated Logitech harmony hubs in every location.... the switching of activities and device control with this matrix and the Logitech remotes works great... the flexibility of the dedicated audio outputs to my audio receivers for my media room (7.1) and living room (5.1) is also a great plus and they work real well... I only have one real con to this switch.... 1) It does not support HDR over 4k.... I understand there have been bandwidth challenges with HDR over HDBASET.... however, there are new HDBASET extenders that now support HDR... and there are also a couple of matrixes out that also support HDR over HDBASET...

No Hassle AV - They live up to their name
I purchased an 8 x 16 CAT/HDMI matrix switch from No hassle AV, the switch is awesome and the customer service and support is better. I need quiet fans, I called no hassle, I was asked did I feel comfortable opening the unit and replacing the fans, I replied that I’m comptia A+ certified so yes I feel very comfortable replacing the fans. I received the fans a few days later, I quick fan swap took only a few minutes. KEEP UP THE GREAT SUPPORT, NO HASSLE, and thank you.
