Safety 1stStay Clean Humidifier, Ultrasonic Mist, One Gallon Easy to Fill Tank, LED Light, and Filter Free

UpdatedDid not turn on for first use. At about 2xs cost a disappointing start. Going to try their customer support to see if they resolve. I have multiple humidifiers as I try to rotate through them daily to ensure cleanest possible. I was going to try this one for the cleaning lights and ease of cleaning. I will update if they answer through their consumer contact channel.I cannot give a noise level as it never turned on, but had to choose to submit.Company sent a replacement after about 10 days(2 were delays on my side so pretty quick).Replacement works good. The light is bright as some have mentioned, but still no mold/mildew buildup with significantly less cleaning than others (I have gone through. Lot of cold and hot humidifiers -Denver area). If light actual works to keep it out well worth it.(Company required pics and confirmation of destroyed product and they sent a new one.)Will likely be getting more of this for other rooms if typical mold build up doesn’t happen as I go through many in a year if I miss daily cleaning drying etc.It is like leaving a light on (that can be turned away covered) so if that bothers you I wouldn’t get it, but great for kids room that use brighter nightlights.Will change to 5 if no mold in another 2 weeks.

I purchased Safety first humidifier for its unique new technology on germ warfare. Along with this amazing humidifier, I also purchased a backup Germ guard Antimicrobial Humidifier Treatment to further support the germ free efforts of this humidifier. I ordered the first Safety 1st humidifier about a week ago and watched for some of the products “negative” reviews, such as leaking water on the table, noisy, bright light, difficult to fill, limited directional steam flow, etc. On leaking water: I found no such leaks created by the humidifier; however, I found sweat-leaks on the top of the directional flow lid. BUT, those leaks were MY FAULT...not the fault of the humidifier.....here is how that happened... The lid needs to be put into a slot on top and gently rotated to find it’s resting place, at which point you can feel a slight click. And, it’s ON.. Once you get the hang of that part, the rest is easy... On noise: I found no noise while running, until I removed the tank to fill it...then there was a humming of a motor....once the refilled tank was placed, it’s operation was quiet. On Bright lights: I have used UV Humidifiers....now that IS a bright light.... But the light from this humidifier is visible, but not as bright as UV. I am not bothered by lights when I sleep, so that was not something I would mark a rating down for....especially when other humidifiers lights are brighter. On difficult to refill: This is the easiest humidifiers for refills that I have ever had... On Directional Steam flow limitations: Yes, the flow direction is limited; however, not so limited that it’s difficult to work with...I would like to see a better directional range to caste the steam flow, it possible, without affecting the overall effectiveness of this amazing Humidifier. OH...by the way, I just purchased a second Safety 1st Humidifier, it arrived today. EASY set up and it is operating quietly, with secure lid, no sweating or leaking.... On sweating or leaking issues that I saw under previous reviews, please consider that it’s possible to OVER-humidify a room to the sweating, wet stage. I have readable humidifiers for each room and I keep the rooms between 45-50% humidity. Think about that issue if you are having humid problems. Thanks for your ear...AND to the great folks in China who made this unique, amazing product....MOST thankful to YOU!!

This is my third humidifier purchase. The first one was good but collects bacteria in places that are extremely hard to reach for cleaning. The second was crap, it cracked and leaked, didn't last a year. I saw that this one has the light to kill bacteria so it sounded good enough to try. You don't need to clean this one at all, it empties and dries quickly. It's easy to fill and transport. If it did need cleaning it's designed to easily reach every part, something most humidifiers are lacking. The light stays on even if the unit is not misting. I wrap mine in a blanket so my kid's room isn't so bright. It does light up the room so if you want a nightlight you got it. My only complaint is how bright it is, like a black light bulb is on. But it's so great at everything else I can overlook that. It's bigger than I thought it would be but I wouldn't buy any other kind after trying this one.

I purchased this humidifier almost exactly 2 years ago and today I finally gave up on it. It’s been turning on and off by itself for several months (even when it’s full) requiring me to turn the knob down and back up again to get it working. I will agree with many other reviewers that the light on this humidifier is far too bright for my toddlers room, I’ve had to block it the entire time. Today I went to scrub it down in hopes of making it work better and realized the plastic near the “ultrasonic light” is disintegrating. I have had much cheaper humidifiers last longer. I won’t be purchasing this product again.

The good:It mostly stays clean as advertised. The reservoir has surprisingly stayed bacteria free since owning it. I've been running it nonstop for about a month, and it's worked nicely. It generates a good cloud of mist and it's very quiet.The bad:* It is insanely bright. No idea why, but they left a big slit open on the side that shows into the clear water reservoir (maybe to show water level?), but because of the anti-mold-growing LED that is INSANELY bright, it will light up your entire room at night. What an oversight on the part of this company...* The bottom water pool and the top collector area both started to accumulate pink mold, and had to be cleaned. * The top collector area is difficult to clean because none of it comes apart...* Light leaks out from the seam where the reservoir meets the base, to the point that it's distracting even during the day.* The anti-mold-LED will turn on when the unit is plugged in, even if the reservoir is not on top! This thing is so bright, it can't be good for your eyes (I got yellow spots for minutes even after the briefest of flashes).I'm not sure I would buy it again. Seems like a good idea, but execution isn't the best. I may try one of the antimicrobial-silver-metal designs some time here in the near future.
