Added this to a pumpkin for my charcuterie board for Halloween and it just was the perfect touch! Cute spooky feel that change the entire mood of the counter.

Good amount of mist, splash guard works after a fashion, lights quite bright.We put ours in a plastic cauldron for Halloween.

I wanted this to work. It looks cool. I even bought this particular one because of the splash guard since I’d seen most of these create splashes. I experimented with varying depths of water but found that it’s impossible to get it just right. Too little water and it splashes out of the bowl. If you add water until it doesn’t splash outside of the bowl it was in, then it doesn’t create the fog.I let it run for 15 minutes with what I thought was minimal splashing and I discovered there was water everywhere on my countertop. I guess with a larger diameter bowl it would catch more splashes, but that’s not how I wanted to use it.

Amazing little gadget, I had a plastic cauldron already and was worried that it's too deep but I played around with it, to achieve smoke rolling out of the lip I put a saucer upside down to elevate the mister and filled it with plenty of water so it covers the little atomiser stick completely on top. I got the splash guard too, and it looked ok but I liked it spitting around without it more looks and sounds like a real bubbling cauldron. The towel under it was soaked either way, just have to put up with it or put it in a larger container.Overall very happy great Halloween decor.

I was really disappointed in this product! I ordered this with a small time window, with high hopes that it would help create my bubbling cauldron for a Halloween party, but it sadly did not. It came in the day prior and I was saddened that it didn’t fog with intensity, but the biggest issue was that it didn’t changed colors (as pictured)! The pictures under the product description are very misleading! I returned it!
