FOX Shox Mudguard XL k Fender - 36/38 Direct-Mount Black

The media could not be loaded. I ride a Specialized Turbo Levo, and the front fork isn’t designed with mounting points for traditional mudguards. Still, I was desperate for a mudguard because mud and debris were constantly flying into my face, especially after riding in wet conditions.I took a chance on this mudguard, and I’m glad I did! Even though my fork wasn’t technically compatible, I was able to securely attach the mudguard using zip ties. It stayed in place through some pretty rough trails and does an excellent job keeping dirt, water, and debris off my face and chest.If you have a Fox fork with the proper mounting points, I can only imagine how much better the fit and finish would be. But even for bikes like mine, with a little creativity, this mudguard absolutely delivers. Super happy with the performance and coverage!

quality product, fits perfectly, firm, doesn't flop around. no need for janky zip ties. Only down side is that you cannot re-install the dust covers that originally covered the pressure relief valves.

Easy to install and fit perfect. I have 38 fox shocks on my peddle assist mountain bike. It looks great and is functional.

I like the size and shape of the fender. Mounts perfectly on the Fox 36. For install, I recommend that you lay the bike down with the front tire off and the shock mount point screws facing upwards to prevent any possible oil leakage from the shock tubes. Other than that, its a solid addition to the bike for aiding mud and water deflection without a lot of extra weight.

This a great-looking mudguard. The installation is easy enough and fits solidly into place, looks like part of the bike.Unfortunately, it is not compatible with tray type of bike racks where you need to secure the bike with a clamp arm over the front tire (eg. Thule T2 Pro), as you would need to clamp it where the mudguard sticks out. So if you plan to use such a type of racks, get a smaller mudguard that does not stick out under the fork crown.

Fits perfectly and does what it's supposed to. Nice upgrade to my Levo!

Works very well and is more functional than the smaller shorter one. I’m just not quite a fan of how it looks on my bike, but that’s not really any fault of Fox.
