Could use some improvements but WORKS GREAT and is VERY BRIGHT!
I have to say that I love this little light. I do have some subjective Cons about it like I wish when you have it plugged into the battery pack that the light had a way to turn off the glowing green light that lights up around the power button on the light. (that's a lot of lights I know) Anyhow, if you plug the light into the battery it lights up a green glowing ring light around the power button to make it easier in dark areas to find the power button. I wish you could turn this light off when you want to leave the flashlight plugged in to the battery while the flashlight is not being used. I commute to work via bus and my bicycle during the graveyard shift and while waiting on the busses I need to take to get to work I have to keep the flashlight unplugged until I want to use it. I would like to be able to leave it plugged in and use it as needed with the option to turn on/off the power button LED ring around its button. Only real con I have with this product other then the subjective I mentioned above is sometimes while in the brightest mode I'll be riding along and the light will slightly dim itself. Its only very slight but enough to notice its not as bright as it should be (and yes this happens even with the battery pack completely charged). How I fix this is by turning it off and back on again and it works great again. I can say though, for only being 1200 lumens it is extremely bright. I tested it in my room at night with all the lights out to see how bright it was. First I turned on the little lamp I have in the room and the lamp only lit up a small area of the room, then this light and this light in a room were you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face lit the room up so bright it lit the whole room up as if I just turned on the overhead light on using three 60w LED bulbs (and those are very bright as well). The little red tail light is really bright as well which brings me to the only other subjective con I have. I really wish the tail light was rechargeable or ran off the battery pack as well so I don't have to keep buying batteries for it every few months or so. Well, so far I've been using it from the day I received it back in April till now July, and its still as bright as it was when I first turned it on so the battery/batteries (not sure if it has 1 or 2 in it or even what type it takes yet but assuming it takes 2032 pancake batteries) seem to be holding up very good. I use this 5-6 days a week for about 1.5hrs +/- total a night/day going to work and coming home from work. As for the battery pack for the main light, I use the light at its brightest setting during the same times of course going to and coming from work and only have to charge the pack maybe once a week. I'm not sure how long it will actually last for cause it hasn't died on me yet (knock on wood), and I charge it every 4-7 days when I think it needs it.I can also say that this light is well made with its all metal housing. I think the mounting piece (which is plastic) might end up breaking before the light will like my last bike light which was 150 Lumens and no where near as bright as this thing.

less weight on the handlebar mount means they will maintain position longer
I replacen my 2 Victagen headlamps with 2 Te-Rich 1200 lumen headlamps. The great thing about having the battery seperate form the lamp is, less weight on the handlebar mount. I was having trouble with my old lights maintaining position (aim) when going over bumpy surfaces. I was constantly trying to get them tight enough to hold position. These lights are more compact as far as how much mass is mounted on your handlebars. With the lighter weight these lamps dont get jarred out of position when going over bumps. I use an auxilarry bar mount on my e bike as the handdlfbars are already cluttered with switches, shifters, led display. mirrors..etc. You might want to look into an additional mounts for your lights as well. The Tee-Rich headlamps come with everything you need to get started including a USB charger. The batteries unplug from the lamps so you only have to remove the battery if you want to charge your batteries off the bike. The olny negative thing I noticed is they do nor come with battery mount bags. So if you prefer a bag mount for you batteries you will need to find those. I have mine strapped to my Thule basket just below the headlamps. The Thule Basket being a ruberized plastic type material also absorbes some of the shock that might loosen or dislodge the battery. I hope this info helps someone.I dont normally ride at night, but I did test these and they do light up the road really well. There are three brightness settings. For visability during the day I keep mine on the middle setting. There is also a strobe setting, but i have found the strobe tends to annoy on coming drivers, so I prefer not to use that setting. I hope someone finds this info helpful.

Great light for the $, but has a couple of quirks
Is is the smallest or lightest rechargeable light on the market? No. But they work pretty darn good—especially for the price. I bought three for me and my sons to use and it opened up a whole new world of night riding on our mountain bikes. The light is bright and the battery life has been good so far, although we haven't pushed it to its limits yet. I've also used the included headlamp mount for doing work at night or in the dark and it works pretty well. Not the most comfortable, but it isn't really designed as a camping headlamp, etc. so I'm willing to work with its limitations. My gripes so far have to do with the mounting of the light, the battery, and mounting on bike helmets.First, the bike helmet. Although the headband works great for when your head it bare, it's not designed for a helmet, and the single strap that's included for helmet mounts was of no use to use. Bottom line: We've had to tape the mount to our helmets to make it work or just put them on the handlebars. Which leads me to my second gripe...Although it holds tightly on the handlebars, the mount isn't made for quick removal. It has a strap that you thread through a screw cap to tighten. We've already had one light's excess strap break off at the mount, which means we can't mount it to a larger handle bar if we want to. Not a big deal, but irritating nevertheless. You CAN unscrew the light from the top of the mount, and we've done that for convenience. However, that just leaves the mount on the handlebars, and you're taking a risk of accidentally breaking the mount just by leaving it on for every ride. (Which, as mentioned before, is how the excess strap broke off.)Finally, the battery pack uses a velcro strap to attach it to the handlebars, etc. However, the battery case is square and hard and doesn't naturally conform to the curved surface of bike tubing. As a result, it tends to bang around just a little and even slide on the bar. If you're doing a long ride on rough terrain, I can see this becoming more of a problem. If you're just on smooth roads, you'll never notice. In spite of these issues, I'd buy them again. It's hard to beat the price. And you can always find ways to adapt.
