Fit great on my 2018 5.0 F150, I’m writing this review only 500 miles after doing the oil change with full synthetic, and so far no issues or complaints.

For a long time, Purolator filters (which were colored orange) were referred to by mechanics as 'the orange can of death' because they were such poor filters. Purolator has changed up their game hugely with the BOSS filter line. These are among the best-performing oil filters you can buy; there are only two or three brands of filter I will use on my vehicles and Purolator BOSS is one of them. Top filtering.

These are high quality filters with excellent filter media, large capacity, and good seal material. My old truck runs clean and cool with this filter. I like to pair this filter with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic, when it's not sold out. Filter has synthetic media with mesh backing, silicone anti-drainback valve, larger capacity, thick steel casing, and ethylene-acrylic gasket. Manufactured by Mann+Hummel in Fayetteville, NC, USA. Ran this filter for about 11,000 miles and had it tested results came back fine. It’s rated for 20,000 miles, but it’s inexpensive enough that I still prefer changing it at normal intervals for peace of mind. It's now the only filter I will run on my vehicles.

These are great filters which were once listed at 20 microns when changed under 10K miles but now listed only as a 46 micron rating. I decided to switch our vehicles over to the Purolator One line which does have a 20 micron rating at 99%.

Really good quality oil filter. I discovered these after having problems with a FRAM filter. They are a bit more expensive but they seem worth it. I use them primarily in motorcycle applications and have just switched to also using them on my GM truck.
