I don't have my original stator to match up to is there any way I can tell by the flywheel if this product will work

Measure inside of mag, then find a stator that is close to that size. Also measure mounting dimensions. 8 coil stator is larger than the 6. 2 coil stator is completely different.

Do you need a battery?

These run ac voltage from the stator, to produce spark. It does not require a battery to run. Without a battery you can either jump start your machine or push start it (depending on the style).

Is it long enough to go on 157qmj 150cc scooter

I also need to know if this harness will be long enough to fit QMJ 150 cc moped and a moped only has 2 tires in it. It's a moped , not a quad, 4- wheeler or anything on that line. Will it fit?
