Black Reaper
Dark Roast Profile: As a dark roast, the Shoreditch Blend is characterized by its bold, intense flavor with a pronounced roastiness. This blend typically features deep, smoky notes and a rich, full-bodied taste. Complex Flavor Notes: The blend often includes complex flavor notes such as dark chocolate, caramel, and subtle hints of spices or earthy undertones. These layers contribute to a satisfying and well-rounded cup of coffee. Freshness: Packaged in a 20g pouch, the Black Reaper Shoreditch Blend is likely intended for those who appreciate freshly ground coffee. The small pouch size helps maintain freshness and ensures that you use the coffee while it's at its peak flavor. Grinding and Brewing: This product is suitable for various brewing methods, whether you prefer a French press, pour-over, espresso machine, or drip coffee maker. The grind size is generally compatible with most brewing methods, but adjusting it based on your specific brewing device can enhance the flavor. Sustainable Sourcing: Many specialty coffee brands emphasize ethical and sustainable sourcing practices. While specific details about Black Reaper’s sourcing practices might vary, it’s always worth checking if the brand supports fair trade or other responsible coffee farming initiatives.

Recommended only if you like bitter coffee
Dark roast with a lot of bitterness but I liked it.

Top notch
As a coffee lover, I bought my deLonghi a couple of years ago and have been trying different coffee blends ever since. I have always felt that Starbucks Colombian brews set the standards. Most Indian blends seem to lack delicate notes and are just bitter. Most foreign blends (especially Lavazza) sell old stock that tastes mediocre. This one is different. It is a good dark roast with lotsa flavour, lovely aroma and a rich dark body. I absolutely adore its taste. I feel that while it is just a notch below Starbucks’ Columbian brew, it comes at a fraction of the price. Off late, I’ve found myself ordering my fourth packet in 6 months. Word of caution: this is a strong brew that might a little too much for some. To provide an analogy, this is the old monk of coffees (not a single malt). So, some may not enjoy it.

A very flat tasting blend
Not a great coffee when compared with tata sonnets and blue tokai dark roasts. Not even comparable to Lavazza gusto crema. They could have done a better job with the blend. Tastes flat and cappuccino tastes terrible.

Maybe a medium roast but defo not a dark roast
The coffee itself is strong and fine but I think it is mislabeled as a dark roast as once dark roast coffees are brewed they are the least acidic and have a mellow flavour profile. However, this coffee is fairly acidic which makes me believe this isn't a dark roast but a lighter one. While this isn't a major problem, the bag and product have to be labelled properly.

After trying a lot of coffees, this will be my go to going forward. It's freshly roasted, smells good, tastes just amazing and very smooth and rich. Definitely one of the best coffees for a variety of coffee drinks if you like them richer and strong. One of my recent favourite drinks with this is an Espresso Tonic and it goes really well with it when brewed right.
