Dayton Audio _ AMT Mini-8 air-motion tweeter pair PS-SRT008

I ordered these because I wanted to upgrade from a set of piezo tweeters. I figured with the included extra faceplate, they'd easily fit right into the hole. WRONG! These little guys are tiny tiny. So tiny in fact when I picked up the box they came in, I thought, "Oh No, they only sent one" But they did send 2. And thankfully they do come with an additional extended faceplate, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to mount them into the existing holes without some major revamping. As it was, I had to dismantle the piezo tweeters and gut the innards so I could mount these tiny little guys into the piezo housing. With a little bit of drilling and some patch work, I was able to get them mounted. Boy do they sound great. So crisp and clear. Alot more detail than the piezos they replaced. I highly recommend these tweeters. I'm using these with a crossover at 5khz. My midrange has an L-pad so I can balance the mids to the highs. The output of these is slightly lower than average, 88db @ 1watt, so be aware of that. I'm so happy with these little guys. They're stellar.

Ho usato una coppia di questi tweeter per delle Teac X8 in avaria. La sostituzione ha richiesto una modifica del crossover ma il risultato finale è stato più che ottimo.Questi AMT sono molto definiti, cristallini ma non invadenti. Non ho dovuto modificare il livello, con un taglio a 4000 Hz hanno legato perfettamente con il piccolo woofer (4") delle Teac.

The product was very nice but the description said there would be a pair of tweeters and only one arrived. I was told that the accounting system wouldn’t allow the vendor to send two and I was offered 25% off if I bought the second. Instead I returned it and am still waiting to be reimbursed. Probably not the best service. This is the second time I’m writing a review of this transaction as Amazon wouldn’t allow the first even though it dealt only in the facts and was not abusive in any way.

エアモーションとリボンは混同されがちだが、明らかに暖色系のエアモーション、水のようにあっさりしたリボンと明快な違いがある。本モデルは価格の割りに能率も悪くなく、ハイエンドの伸びも良いので使いやすい。

Ottimi come super tweeter per accompagnare un cupola in seta che faticava sul dettaglio nella gamma sopra ai 4250 hz... Molto efficienti devo ancora trovare la Giusta attenzione almeno 3db.Avevo provato con cond 2,2 ma poi li ho provati con 12db per ottava con 3.3 e bobona 0,40...Farò prove con partitore resistivo per attenuare l emissione.Per ora buona ariosità che il sistema Sub doppio push-pull passivo più satelliti autocostruito pirless ha acquistato.Peccato che non abbia già un filtro della casa, sarebbe stato un punto di partenza ideale.Rettifico la recensione dopo diverse prove e tagli anche 14mila 18 db la timbrica è poco naturale e sembra inscatolato..Parere personale non mi piace
