9V Batteries, 10 Pack 9 Volt Batteries Carbon Zinc, 9V Battery for Smoke Detector, Alarms, 6F22 Square Battery

I bought these mainly for the smoke detectors I have around the house. For low-power stuff, they work just fine, no issues so far. They’re definitely more affordable than other name brands, which is great if you need a bunch at once. Just keep in mind these are zinc carbon, not alkaline or lithium, so they’re not meant for high-drain devices. I wouldn’t use them in anything that needs a ton of power or constant use. They came well packaged, none were leaking, and I appreciate that they’re made without toxic stuff like mercury or lead. Good deal for backup or light use, but probably not your go-to for heavy-duty gadgets.

This was my original review: "I bought this 10-pak of 9v batteries specifically for my annual smoke alarm battery replacement. I have a big house and have 10 smoke detectors. After less than 48 hours 4 of the ten FAILED (smoke alarm does the "beep-beep-beep" sound when batteries are low). That's a 40% failure!" Here is an update: After posting this review I contacted Amazon customer service and they offered to replace this product with another "no charge" order. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by the company also offering to replace my order with another at no charge. Today I received that replacement order so I am changing my review to a "four star" due to the excellent customer service. I will have to wait for further comments regarding the quality of the product until they are used.

These batteries that are used for smoke detectors work really well. They last at least a year and when one goes bad they all go bad so I just when one starts up I take them all out and replace them at once. These are good batteries and mine were not old they were good dates on them

These PKCELL 9V carbon batteries worked exactly as expected and arrived well packaged. I used them in smoke detectors and a few household devices, and they powered everything on right away. Shelf life seems good, with no weak or dead batteries out of the box. They provide steady performance for everyday, low drain electronics. For the quantity and price, this pack is a great value. I’d gladly buy these again to have on hand for use around the house.

Great for the price

Old school batteries, the old Eveready Carbon type.. not Alkaline. I use these for guitar pedals like fuzz boxes and vintage pedals, supposedly they sound better ? I doubt it, but they’re cheap and they seem to work well, no issues with them at all
