MaxRenard Game 1000 Pieces Jigsaw Puzzle Fine Art Collection Toy Klimt Lady with Fan

I work 1000-piece Max Renard puzzles because they are so vibrant and well made. My favorite feature is that the backs of the pieces are numbered 1-6 on some puzzles and with 6 different colors on others. These colors tell you what section of the puzzle any given piece goes in. The result is that you can separate the 1000 pieces into yellowbacks, pinkbacks, bluebacks, etc., or 1, 2, 3, etc., put the pieces of each color or number in its own bowl (if you have six cereal bowls, let's say), and then work one section at a time. It still takes a couple of weeks to put the puzzle together, but the task is challenging and fun rather than slow and frustrating. Okay, there's just enough frustration to let you know you're working a thousand-piece puzzle, but it doesn't spoil the fun. And when you're through, you can smile rather than saying to yourself, I'm glad that's over. It helps that many of the pictures are of fine art, and very colorful.

Missing 1 piece. So disappointing spend hours doing a puzzle only to find out there is 1 piece missing. The picture quality is good however, and the pieces are color coded - which is not my preference, but some might find it helpful.

Good tight fit for pieces means you can lift assembled subsections to relocate all in one piece. Nice detail in the image. Challenging in that small patches of similar colors appear all across the image so that you end up working on several areas simultaneously rather than solving section by section. Few patches of solid, texture-less color that force you to go only by shape. Good variety of piece shapes so that you seldom put a wrong piece in solely by fit. Well designed cut means there are some fun surprises where the cut runs right along some strong image contrast line, or some dot of color is completely contained by a piece tab, that sort of thing. Very satisfying to solve, cool painting to contemplate in its subject, details and technique.

Klimt/Lady with a fan: This is a very good puzzle - The picture is beautiful with vibrant colors. The puzzle is sturdy, well finished (both front and back), and dust free. The puzzle is challenging enough, but not too difficult. The best part of this puzzle is the color. Each piece, though small, has good color variation. The color variation gives us clue how the pieces fit together. It took us a week to do the puzzle. We had lot of fun with it. Van Gogh/Bumper Harvests: This is the second MaxRenard art puzzle we have worked on. The puzzle is of good quality - well made, and precision cut, and NO puzzle dusts. The picture is nice and bright. The pieces are a little small, but they fit together very well. Thanks to MaxRenard for producing high quality products at very reasonable price. Anxious to try another Van Gogh picture puzzle.
