do these sheet work on clear class?

They are supposed to work in the mug heat press so I would assume so but have only used it on polyester or white iron on glitter

glue sticks to mugs and coasters for any backing left around design. What is way to prevent or how can we get this off?

This is either transferred by tumbler press or convection oven. Any residue when peeling the paper off off cup or tumbler can be removed by cool running water and soft cloth I'm not sure what residue around the edge you're talking about.

didn't stick to the t-shirt. 385 degrees for 70 seconds in a heat press,?

It’s not supposed to stick, just transfer the ink into the shirt. Basically you’re dying the tshirt. They told me their products work best on white materials.

Can this be used for 100% cotton?

You could try a small piece on 100% cotton, I have occasionally had luck with it, but I generally find it more reliable to put something on cotton blend.
