I am loving this tripod for so many different reasons. Not only is it easy to set up but I can bend the legs in all sorts of directions and make it shorter if I need without much of a problem. I also love that the legs can be bent and moved to make the tripod very sturdy to the point where you can not tip it over without really trying. I also love that this kit came with a shutter button. It was easy to find the app in the app store and it works great with my phone. It makes it a lot easier to set things up and take all the pictures I want. Everything works just as it should and I've been happy with everything.

The tripod, while not quite the level of a JOBI, is fairly useful for a lighter camera or phone. My primary complaint is that you can't turn the mount 90 degrees to get a portrait shot with your iPhone - you're limited to landscape only.I have the iPhone 7s with a thin case and the phone clip fits it OK - it feels a little flimsy, though.I had issues with the remote - it connected to my iPhone easily - and dropped the connection easily. I could keep it connected for less than a minute at any time. I even told my phone to "forget" all of the other Bluetooth devices in it's list, and then rebooted the phone so the remote was the only device involved - still no luck with the remote.I have since purchased another remote (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M9G1ZNQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it works great with my iPhone 7s (but that one comes with a miniature tripod, so that remote coupled with this tripod and phone clip should make a good setup).

the tripod is long, sturdy, and flexible. the holder is expansive but doesn't swivel or oscillate without it becoming loose by the screw in mechanism. apart from the remote, the additional item is intended for a go pro.

I've been using this to take video of my form at the gym for my trainer. it works well with my samsung phone. kind of a tight fit but holds the phone securely. I haven't used any of the remote components yet. the legs are flexible and they hold securely.
