My new go-to product
This product works great to get rid of cat pee smell and staining. I have tried others. Lots of others. Nature's Miracle does the job without thr harsh odor sime have that you require ventilation to spray. Yes, there is a scent, but not too strong and it disappears as it dries. One cat is marking everything, either in protest or medical issue, so until the vet appointment, this has really helped out. I've sprayed solid surfaces and fabrics. It takes the pee stain out along with the smell on about 90% of all I have tried it on. Older, set-in messes harder to impossible to remove, not the product at fault. Only issue I had was with real hardwood flooring. It feels sticky. If caught immediately, I sray and only leave on a few minutes, them wipe off with a damp cloth and dry without a problem. I ordered another jug of another top favorite that worked before I discovered this product for the wood that has set in staining. And Nature's Miracle laundry additive (not this product, but from the company) works so well that I have been able to salvage some items that I decided to try it out on before throwing them out. I am amazed at how well it eliminates the odor. Prior to ordering the specific laundry version, I added the regular stuff into the wash and it worked too, but I used more and results were less spectacular. So, buy both. I liked this product enough to reorder it in the large jug and 4 bottles of the laundry version (was buy 3/get 1 free promo).

The “Cat Pee Whisperer” That Saves Carpets and Relationships
If you’re a cat owner, you already know this product is not optional—it’s basically part of the household emergency kit right next to band-aids and “why did my cat do that again?” therapy snacks. This stuff is designed for one very specific mission: cat urine chaos control. And honestly, it does that job better than most cleaners I’ve tried. What makes it stand out compared to a lot of regular stain sprays is that it doesn’t just mask the smell with perfume—it uses enzymes that actually break down the urine molecules so the odor source gets destroyed instead of covered up. That’s a huge deal, because cat pee is stubborn in a way that feels personal. Compared to cheaper “odor remover” sprays that basically just smell like lemon lies, this one actually goes deeper into the mess. You spray it, let it sit, and the enzymes get to work continuing to break things down as long as there’s still residue left. That “keeps working” part is what makes it different from basic cleaners that dry up and give up immediately. It’s also specifically formulated for cat urine, which matters more than people think—cat urine is extra strong and chemically different enough that general pet cleaners often underperform. Using it is pretty simple, which is good because nobody wants a complicated science experiment when they’re already scrubbing carpet at midnight. You soak the area, wait a bit, blot it up, and let it finish doing its thing. It works best when you actually fully saturate the spot (yes, even more than feels reasonable), because surface spraying alone won’t reach deeper layers where the smell likes to hide and plan its comeback tour. Now for the real talk: it’s not magic. If the mess has been sitting for a long time, or if it soaked deep into carpet padding or furniture, you might need multiple treatments. Some people also notice a light “cleaner smell” afterward that can linger for a bit—not bad, just very “I just cleaned a crime scene in a pet way.” And if you don’t use enough or don’t let it sit, it can feel like it “almost worked but not quite,” which is usually user error more than product failure. What I also like is that it’s safer for pets and home when used properly, so you’re not basically fumigating your house just to fix one accident. That makes it way more practical than harsher chemical options. Overall, this is one of those products that earns its reputation. It doesn’t feel fancy, it doesn’t try to reinvent cleaning, it just quietly handles one of the worst smells known to humanity with surprisingly good consistency.

All the Positive Reviews are Spot on!
I don't know where to begin on how awesome this product is! My cat started inappropriately peeing out of nowhere. Turned out he was very sick with a virus. (I'm thinking FVR) How that had anything to do with him peeing outside the boxes is beyond me! But it was oddly linked via stress triggers. I did all types of research and spent hundreds of dollars at the vet trying to help him. In the meantime I was dealing with him peeing on couches and in closets! I could close the door to the closets but could not protect the couches by the time I realized what he was doing. I read the reviews for this product and gave it a try. Between working a full-time job & care of the house I didn't have time to professionally clean the couches so I just sprayed & soaked them with this product. Lo and behold, You cannot even smell a slightest scent of urine from the couches! And he had been peeing on it continuously! At first you could smell the freshness from the product when first sprayed...overwhelming the urine scent. But as time went on it literally neutralized the urine odor completely and the scent of the product diminished leaving no smell at all! My couches are dark colored so there wasn't much urine staining to be seen. The smell was the problem....& Nature's Miracle took care of that completely! I'm a believer & will recommend this to everyone! My couches have been saved! Note: Miraculously my cat got better and stop peeing everywhere. Not sure exactly what caused his issues but he's 100% back to normal and I have my couches back as well! 😉 Thanks, Nature's Miracle!

Works!
Ok, so I deducted only one point for the cheap nozzle and that it came broken. The reason only one, is because I’ve been buying a much more expensive brand assuming it would be the best, things are getting hard & my new rescue needs re potty trained, so I’ve had lots of accidents. With how much you need to spray on each stain, and going through so much, I decided to try this because it was half the price! I put it in a good spray bottle that I had, and so it ended up fine. But honestly, this works just as good and smells way better than the more expensive brand. I’m really glad I tried it! I’m sure they cut costs on the spray nozzle in order to have such a good price, so the fact that it works so good, and affordable, I’ll take it! I’m definitely now switching to this brand and am relieved it’s not so expensive. I’ll update once I reorder to tell how the nozzle works when not broken. Their no residue, smells good and gets rid of the pee smell as well as the smell of a diarrhea accident! I wish I would’ve tried this to begin with, but better late than never! I highly recommend! Best bang for your buck fir a great enzyme cleaner that actually works!

What's better than NM Urine Destroyer spray? A 1 gallon refill!
I've been using Nature's Miracle products for years. The Urine Destroyer is great to spray on flooring or furniture or rugs - wherever you need to eliminate urine. It doesn't just cover up pee smell...it gets rid of it and mostly prevents cats from peeing or marking in the same spot. It isn't 100% effective all the time, but it is my go to when I have to get urine out of surfaces and flooring. It leaves a pleasant, refreshing smell which fades quickly to no smell at all, which is best case scenario.

Amazing product
This product is an amazing find. I had a problem with outdoor cats marking their territory near my backyard, and the smell was terrible. Nothing else helped. But with this product, the smell not only disappeared, the cats also stopped marking the area. Highly recommend.

This stuff is a lifesaver
Update 10/3/24: I'm removing a star because they recently started adding these stickers that make it extremely difficult to open the bottle. Stop doing this. It's annoying and I can't open it. If you're here because you abhor the smell of cat urine, you've come to the right place. I've been using Nature's Miracle products for years, so here are some tips if you're looking for a good urine remover. You can trust this review, as it was written by someone with 5 cats - 4 who are kittens, and exploring peeing other places than their litter box. Also, the story about my friend below is what got me really using and trusting this product more. He had so much cat pee built up on his hardwood floors and was able to remove it with this product. I am a fanatic about this cleaner. Please read on for everything you need to know about how to use this product correctly! 1. You won't be able to remove cat urine from anything without an enzymatic cleaner. So here you have it, this is an enzymatic cleaner. This is the product you need. There are other enzyme cleaners out there, but why trust the rest when you have the best? I've had others try to tell me to use baking soda or peroxide or some other combination of things can remove cat urine. The bottom line is - no they can't. Why? Because only enzymes can break down the uric acid in cat urine. Read that again - *only enzymes* can break down the uric acid in cat urine. This product is designed with specific enzymes to do just that. Other cleaners just clean the surface layer, but if the urine has sunk into lower layers of fabric, wood, foam, cement, or any other surface, the smell WILL come back to haunt you. You MUST break down the uric acid crystals to completely get rid of the smell of cat urine. 2. DO NOT DILUTE IT. This product is not as effective when diluted. If you have a big area or item to clean, don't add water to stretch the product. Your item will still smell like urine and you'll have wasted your money. Simply buy more of the product. Renters and landlords, I'm looking at you... 3. If cat pee has soaked down into layers beneath the surface (on your fabric, wood, foam, cement, etc.), it is only logical that the cleaner MUST soak down to that level to reach the pee and break up the uric acid. So what does this mean? If you're not getting results the first time using the product, you didn't leave it on long enough, or you didn't let it soak down deep enough. Apply more. Leave it on longer. Be patient. It works. 4. For clothing, I recommend spraying the item until it's fairly wet. Let it sit 3 days to have time to work and break up the urine. Then, I personally run it through the washer twice with no detergent, and a third time with detergent. Don't wash it with any other clothes - just throw it in by itself, even if it's a small load. You should be safe to dry your item after the third wash, but if you have any doubts, start over because the dryer can set it pee stains that are harder to get out. Personally, I avoid the dryer and hang dry my items. After, I check for any lingering smell. If it still smells a little, start over. Normally clothes come clean after this method once, but I've had a few fabrics hang onto the smell a bit so I repeat these steps and it does the trick. 5. For floors and hard surfaces, completely drench the area with solution. Since you want to allow the solution to soak down as deep as the cat pee, I recommend putting a towel or hand towel over the affected area and letting it soak over the spot for about a week. A friend of mine had wood floors over a cement foundation and did this method. It took time and a decent bit of solution, but the smell was completely gone by the time he was done. When in doubt, apply more. Leave it on longer. Be patient. It works. 6. For furniture, it's a given that pee will have soaked down into the cushions. Like the steps for floors and hard surfaces, you want to apply enough solution to soak down as deep as the cat pee. Since you can't throw couch cushions in the washer, you will just have to leave the solution on and wait for it to dry. You can also remove couch cushion covers and follow the steps for clothing. I have even sprayed this on a small spot on my down duvet, left it alone to dry for two days, and the pee smell and the scent of the spray is completely gone. The scent: I've seen some reviews that people don't like the smell of this solution. I have used both the store bought smaller bottles as well as the larger bottle (this item) and the smell just smells like a normal chemical product. The good thing about it is the smell doesn't last. When I have used it on laundry items, it's there for a little bit after the items are clean, but it dissipates and just smells like nothing later. So if you're worried about lingering smell, there isn't one. It dissipates *completely* with time. Plus, if you ask me, anything is better than the smell of cat urine!

Best product ever
We have a feral cat his urine is absolutely disgusting. He kept peeing in my son’s room and I tried multiple times to clean it with multiple different products and nothing worked. This is the best product I have tried. It worked the first time and the smell was completely gone.

El único producto que me ha funcionado
Despues de tratar con miles de productos, este es el que más ha funcionado. No elimina al 100% el olor de pipí, pero ayuda muchisimo. Deja un olor más agradable.

Incredible
I can't believe that this stuff actually works. I was going to throw a very expensive leather purse in the washing machine became I couldn't get the smell out, so it was ruined regardless with cat pee - so what would it matter. My son recommended Natures , I sprayed it liberally inside the purse, let it sit and the smell completely went away. I used it on another item, let it soak and then dabbed it off with a wet paper towel. The yellow stain and the smell disappeared. Thank you to whoever created this miracle cleaner!!!
