I'm a big dude 250+ would this be to small for me?

Hey... I'm 6'2" 225 pounds with a 36" waist and the chair is snug on me. There is about 2" between my waist and the arms of the chair on each side. The seat is U shaped and although I'm happy with the fit, there isn't much extra room. My wife and I loved the look of the chair but, if you look at my review, I'm not impressed with the comfort when compared with the price. 1. The arms are hard and I purchased some cloth pads that messed up the look. 2. Sometimes there is a loud click when I sit down. Thermaltake suggested that I take the chair apart and then put it back again. (BTW. Once the piston where the base sits settles in, it's almost impossible to separate them without damage.) 3. Both the seat and back are hard. My wife sits on a cushion with another for her back. Bottom line. I still love the look of the chair but, for the price, I couldn't recommend it.
