This hose-end sprayer works exactly as advertised and has made applying lawn and garden treatments much easier. What I like most is that it removes the need to think about complicated dosage calculations. You simply set the desired dilution and spray, which makes the process far more convenient and consistent. I cannot independently verify the exact accuracy of the mixing ratio, but for my purposes that is not especially important. What matters is that it delivers a repeatable and controlled volume every time. The unit feels well made, is easy to use, and offers excellent value for the money. If you regularly apply weed killers, insecticides, or fungicides, this is a very practical tool to have on hand.

Excellent, excellent. Read a lot of reviews that put doubts in my mind in using a wet hose-end sprayer especially with fish emulsion! This puppy worked excellent! I did strain the fish emulsion and poured it in the reservoir and added some water, 1:1. Remember if you.wwre.to pour it in it whole it mixes with water anyway. It worked like a charm. Wow! No more back breaking with the watering can. If anything changes I'll make do an update... if it leaks etc as others complain about. And it was able.tomsoak.roots.and foliage spray... excellent. Now the garden will smell fishy for a day but well worth. Just don't fertilize with fish emulsion right before, if you are throwing a garden party!

I bought this to dose herbicide over a lawn so I wouldn't have to walk around with a pump sprayer, so I needed something that was fairly accurate at dosage per gallon dispensed. Ultimately the decision came down to reviews and this had the overall best reviews. I'll clarify something I didn't see on any review and a major question I had. The dial on the side of the unit that dictates the dosing rate is in oz/gallon of water. This isn't explicit in the product instructions BUT if you buy Ortho's Weed B-gon concentrate product it says to dose at 2.5oz per gallon (if using in a pump sprayer) or if using the Dial N Spray, set the dial to 2.5oz. Having an easy to set dosing rate in oz per gallon is FAR easier than guessing or doing some sort of experiment. So far no issues. I suspect people with leaking issues are not using a gasket for the hose connection, aren't screwing the sprayer completely onto the hose, or are not properly supporting the hose connection. You can't fill the unit then use the hose to support its weight, you also shouldn't use the handle on the unit to pull the hose. The hose connection isn't intended to support any kind of tension.

This sprayer works great for applying my liquid plant food. The dial is easy to set, the spray comes out evenly, and it mixes the solution perfectly without clogging. It attaches securely to the hose and doesn’t leak, which is a huge plus. Makes feeding the garden quick, simple, and consistent every time.

This is a great sprayer. I live in Florida and have an ongoing problem with white flies that live in hedges. I needed a quick way of using concentrated chemical products w/o the hassle of constantly mixing different dilutions. This sprayer does that. I only need to pour in the concentrate and dial in the dilution...Easy Peasy! I tried a similar product from a big box store. It was the same idea but it leaked water from day one and it was more expensive than this one. I've used this one now multiple times and it is ruggedly built. Recommend!

For me this does not work. I tried this product because the Miracle Gro equivalent never lasts and leaks. For the Ortho, I’m simply not strong enough to hold the trigger down for a consistent level of desired flow. On the picky side, the downward angle of attaching end is awkward.

Easy to use, has internal tube to pick up fertilizer. Adjustable spray and output. Superior to the Miracle Gro sprayer, this actually dispenses the fertilizer. Well made and rugged, highly recommend.

Leaks really badly, needs an extra adapter to use in the UK, expensive, took 3 weeks to arrive - in all, a waste of money. I wish I had read the reviews more thoroughly before I bought it. Unfortunately, I didn’t test it out until the return date had passed, otherwise it would have gone back!

Once I got the unit sealed it is fantastic but it tool a lot of experimenting and plumbers tape to stop it from leaking. It didn't come with a click on hose connector.
