Frienda Car Door Sill Protector Edge Guards,2 Inch Wide, 16.4 Feet,Black

Used it on my Ram to cover up some existing scratches and prevent more. Easy to work with. Seems plenty sticky, but i just put them on so i can't tell how it will hold up to cold/heat and water. Used some blue painters tape, established the pattern and cut them out. Pretty forgiving as far as lining it up, slightly touching the car and then pulling back up to reposition as long as you dont press down. Has a clear backing to peel off. It's not sandpaper or extremely rough. I wouldn't use it to prevent slipping in wet conditions, but for the door sill its a perfect texture. Plenty of length to do 2 strips on each door of Ram quad cab. Hopefully it lasts!!

I did not use this for its intended automotive purpose, but it ended up working great for a problem spot on a high-traffic back door at my house. For whatever reason, the paint kept wearing off on the edge of the door where everyone grabs it to open and close it. Nobody seems to use the handle in my house, so I wanted something that would protect that area and still look clean. I removed the lock and handle, applied about 18 inches of this material down the side of the door, used a little heat, and made sure the surface was prepped well first. It laid down smoothly and looked nice once installed. It did exactly what I was hoping for by creating a protective area where hands constantly grab the door. The material feels like a good balance too — not overly thick, but also not rough or abrasive on your fingers. Another plus is that the roll included enough material that I should be able to replace it later if needed or use the rest for other projects around the house or garage. Honestly, I may still use some on my old work truck for its intended purpose just because it seems like a handy product to keep around. If it holds up well over time, I will come back and update with a longer-term review, but so far I am very pleased with it. Stuff is great, its abundantly sticky,and flexible. I used it on my gladiator door seals. Its got great grip and protects anything you stick, it on. The only drawback is that is looks " dirty " pretty fast. And its hard to get clean. I literally scrub it with a brush when I wash the jeep. For the money its a great product

after applying it to the sills of my Toyota Sienna car while working as an Uber driver in New York I can say that the product is good and will last a very long time. I have been using it for 5 months and people step on it every day and everything is great. The main thing when applying is to degrease well, clean the surface and warm the material itself with a hairdryer a little and smooth it well then there will definitely be no problems

Good product but adhesive is not good on corners

I really like this product. I installed the clear on the front and rear door sills of my truck (white painted surface). Color of the paint shows through so they are less noticeable. Plenty on the roll to do all 4 door sills and still have about 5 feet left over. Sticks well. Cleaned suface with 70% isopropyl alcohol prior to installation.

It is poor—difficult to install and the adhesive is very weak. I do not recommend it. While it is made of excellent material for protecting doors from scratches, the adhesive fails to stick, and it is difficult to clean.

Es bueno, se mantiene en su lugar, lo coloque donde pega el sol y ya llevan asi 2 meses y sigue igual de resistencia

I didn’t think this would be very good but am supposed as it sticks very well and is able to bend well and is thick enough to Protect wel.
