Red Front Loader Washer & Dryer test (customer images)…
Project Background:My darling husband purchased a used red Maytag front loading washer and dryer for me. Yay right? Wrong. As you can see from the customer images that I uploaded (the one with the blue strap across) they were beat to h***. Great. My old ones weren’t even in bad shape. I don’t even know how they would get that beat up. Anyway, there were scuffs all over, paint transfers from smacking walls, and scratches ranging from light scuffs to deep gouges on the doors especially. So needless to say when I purchased this product I had very little hope despite the reviews.I started off by wiping the set down with Windex, then used a toothbrush and Awesome cleaner (available at Dollar General for $1 and will clean just about anything) which removed the paint and any grime that was stuck on. Then I polished it down with Windex to remove the film left over by the Awesome. The after scrub pic can be seen in the scratched door image of the set. Then I went to work with the Novus. I started with 1 to clean any remaining lint, dust, etc. then used the 3, 2, 1 respectively per the instructions. The product is recommended to be buffed off and repeated as necessary. This wasn’t really doing much as you can see it was quite a job for the Novus. So I tried it my way next. I took the 1, sprayed then immediately wiped. Next I took the 3, squirted it in my hand and rubbed it all over the surface. I let it dry then wiped it off in a circular, buffing type motion. The product dries and wipes off like a dried powdery, chalky substance. Think thick wet chalk that has dried. I repeated this process with 2, then polished with 1.Results:I have uploaded 4 customer images. I am pretty amazed by the results. Now don’t get me wrong, this product does not defy logic. The really deep scratches were better but still visible from some angles. But as you can see from my customer images, overall it did a wonderful job on this washer and dryer.Ultimately my results exceeded my expectations. Well worth the 16 bucks in my opinion, as I have plenty left (this project only used about a couple ounces of 2 & 3 and a few spritzes of 1 when used quite liberally) to use around the house.Note: If you put it on coated surfaces (ie. the grey door trim or silver handle) it will not make the scratches disappear and will leave a hazy film behind. I just cleaned that up with a bit of Windex on a rag and it did not damage the surface in any way. Also worth mentioning, on the clear coated red finish of the set it did work, but not to the level of amazing that it worked on the clear front of the doors.Even if it doesn’t work for some deep, deep scratches or gouges, it is still worth the $$ because of its effectiveness on the medium to light stuff. I am perfectly happy and will be purchasing this stuff in bulk!

Helps repair plexiglass surfing damage from reptiles
I purchased a used reptile enclosure that had horribly scratched plexiglass doors from its previous inhabitant glass surfing. I wanted to give this product a try before paying to replace the doors. I used the heavy scratch spray and followed up with the minor scratch spray. The polishing spray seemed to make it cloudy all over again even after a lot of buffing, so I didn’t use it more than a small test spot. Overall it made the plexiglass easier to see through but they still aren’t perfect.Photos of Before and after of one door includedAs well as overall tank door visibility

Saved me $350 to restore vs replace!
This stuff is absolutely amazing. I've used it in the past to clean up old transistor radios and boomboxes. I recently bought a turntable which came with a dust cover. The cover was very scratched up in several places. I wasn't really expecting the amount of improvement I got. I was about to spend $350 on a new custom cover but decided to give Novus a try. There was about a 70-85% improvement. The plastic is now reflective. Scratches I thought were permanent are gone or now hard to see. An incredible product

Works OK, but really not worth the money. Only good for very fine scratches.
Works OK, but doesn't really help much with larger scratches.

cleared up very clouded headlights. seems like it will last.
Didn't work on all of my scratched plastic but did save me from having to buy a new set of headlights for 2 vehicles. I didn't use a polisher tool but it did polish up to be clear on one headlight. The yellow discoloration was cleaned off both headlights. The whole process took maybe 20 minutes by hand. I may go back to one with the most remaining scratches and use a hand polishing tool. The final spray sea,S to have sealed the clear/clean in.I had hoped it would have worked on my laptop screen but it didn't. I didn't try it on old scratched CDs.

Ruined my acrylic window!
I build custom computers for a living and recently built a demonstrator computer designed to be used at a trade-show, demonstration, etc. The entire side of the 36" tall tower chassis containing the components is an acrylic window. Due to the size of the chassis, it arrived via freight and the acrylic had wide, fine scuffs presumably from shipment. I have handled this situation before using a different brand, but didn't have any at this time. I saw fairly good reception on this product so I decided to give it a try.I did everything per the instructions, and I have experience with this kind of product in the past. I expanded the treated area outwards from the scuffs to help "blend" the treatment. I started with 3, then 2, and finally 1. Once complete I put the window back on to find that it was now incredibly hazy or foggy, especially when light was passed through it, which was even more of a problem since I had cold cathodes illuminating the inside of the chassis.I thought that maybe it was a fluke or possibly required more buffing time. I repeated the process to find that it only made the haziness worse. I now have an opaque window and will have to pay several hundred dollars to get a new one machined and sent to me...all because this product ruined my original window. The initial scuff marks were 1000 times better than the result of using this product. In conclusion, I'm sure that there are applications in which this works. However if you have anything acrylic or high value, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT as you may have to suffer the same consequences as I.Also, to be clear, there was no film or special coating on the window. It was standard transparent acrylic which should have been fine and can be polished with other brands. As recommended, I DID try this in a small location (there is nowhere inconspicuous on the entire window) and it was impossible to tell the results since the hazing is only viewed over a broader area. I did try my due diligence to make this work and I simply could not pull it off. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed.
