Alternate grease to Milwaukee products requiring Type Y
Needed grease to maintain the head of an M18 string trimmer attachment w/ quick-lok (49-16-2717 trimmer attached to 3016 power head) and other OPE. The OEM grease listed in the Operator's Manual is Type Y, but Milwaukee replaced that with Type J which is extraordinarily expensive. After extensive research, decided on this Mobilux EP 1 grease to add to the Type Y grease. Yes, I'm aware you should not mix different types of grease, but I have no regret so far. Mobilux EP 1 grease has the same color, texture and other characteristics as the original Type Y grease. Installing the grease was easy using the Astro Pneumatic Tool 101 Mini Grease Gun which is also highly recommended.

Huge Tube for the Price. Works Great!
Bought this to lube my reloader. I didn’t realize how big the tube was. I’m going to have grease the rest of my life!! It works great though, exactly what I needed.

Recommended Lube for Home Built CNC
I bought this because it is the type recommended for lubing the rails and ball nuts on home built CNC's. Should work as intended. It was delivered in an appropriately sizes box, unlike other reviewers experiences, so hopefully they've improved the packaging.

Works great as a NLGI 1 grease for the inner axle boots
Seems to work well for my inner axles where the boot popped off when changing lower control arms. Was able to use it to replace the grease on the inner axle boots. Looked online and everyone recommended NLGI 1 because of the temps it was able to handle since that portion of the axle would be in direct contact with the transmission.

Perfect product
This was perfect for tiller gear box. Very thin grease, I could not find anywhere including all parts houses, tractor suppliers etc. All local suppliers carry is the thick stuff #2.

Hard to fine this at the auto parts store
NLG 1 thin (soft) grease is hard to find in the stores. This is what you want when a thick grease isn't the best choice. Would be good for lubing the inner speedometer cable etc
