This candle gives out a wonderful smell as soon as it is lit. Keeps it smell throughout.

Extremely strong smell. I needed something to just cover up bad smell untill I get it fixed. This is extremely strong. If your area do not smell bad then do not use this version/smell. It is overpowering.

Village Candles easily keep pace with Yankee Candles in the aroma department. We purchased a Village Limon Pound Cake (double wick). Two words describe this candle, pungent and sweet! Quality Control is always a problem with any product nowadays (see reviews). So if you get a Village Candle that disappoints, don't give up on the brand, they'll hit their mark, it's only a matter of time. The downside is, and, yes, there is one, limited scent variety. Maybe Amazon has a limited arrangement with Village as to variety. It's the same scents over and over again. We need something new like chocolate, caramel, banana nut, etc.. We still buy Yankee Candles if they have something that sounds good, however, inflation must have caught up with them in the aroma department, not enough juice for the money! Hey, Yankee, either charge less or create a brand name that reflects your new economy line... just a thought. As a side note, Village Candles, at least the ones we've bought, need a burn-in period to reconcile their aroma and permeating profile i.e. they'll mellow from their out-of-the-box maybe you like it or maybe you don't fragrance, into something more satisfying and expected... they need time.

Love it. Should have gotten it for myself. I plan to give this as a Mother’s Day gift. My mom loves candles, lemon and lemon pound cake so I figured she’d love this lemon pound cake scented candle for her kitchen. This cancel is for anyone who likes lemon scents, sweet scents and who loves candles. It came without any damage as I expected that it would and it smelled amazing. We will be calming when used. It is the delicious, sweet scent of lemons and baked breads or pastries. It has a lid and is made of a thick glass material for great functionality. Definitely recommend and hope my mom loves her Mother’s Day gift.

I have bought this candle 27 times because it smells so incredibly good that I could freaking eat it! It literally smells like a delicious lemon pound cake. I use it with a candle warmer, and the sweet lemony scent fills my whole open concept kitchen/living room. The scent is strong and long-lasting without being too overpowering. This is 100% the best of Village Candles dessert scents.

I absoutley love the Village Candels! However this scent was sadly not what I was expecting... More like a burnt sweet cleaner.....

Best smelling candle ever! I keep one burning all the time. I get compliments from company, delivery people!! Just buy the candle already 😉
