Rod butt issue
It’s a good bit of kit, only issue is if you have a lure rod or a “fat” handled rod they don’t fit very well through the hole. But if they fit they’re really secure.

Small slotted holder
Will only take a particular size of rod. Bait or spinning rods really. My pike rods don’t fit into slots which is really disappointing. Good enough quality and easily mounted. Value for money is ok if it works for your size of rods. Shorter than l thought it would be but ok size wise.
