Hafi Swedish Cloudberry Preserves, 14.1 oz Jar

I love the cloudberry jam it tastes great. No complaint about the product itself. The deliver packaging was the issue. We ordered 3 jars. They were placed in a large box and paper was thrown on top so they were clanking and rolling around none were wrapped . We were lucky that none of the jars were broken or the seals were popped. Not happy about that

Taste of my childhood! Love it! Where I grew up we called it “ice cream berry” :) and it was rare to find it in the woods.

This product is the Americanized version of a Swedish product, which I remember from Sweden as a delicacy. This product is filled with preservatives and other additives as well as a huge amount of sugar. The taste of cloudberries is virtually masked. It tastes like a typical sugary, otherwise tasteless, American jam. What a shame to have to appease the American Government food tyrants.

I am very happy to be able to find an old family favorite. Thank you!

A couple of the skincare creams I use are from the Finnish skincare line, Lumene. In Lumene's Vitamin C skin cream line, they describe using arctic cloudberries. And many times when I would use the creams, I would wonder how arctic cloudberries tasted like. I've visited Sweden and Finland almost five years ago, and they have unique and tasty cuisine. This Swedish cloudberry preserve from Hafi is pleasant and lovely like the country of Sweden. The taste is mildly sweet and tart. It tastes great eating alone by spoon, on bread, and warmed up on top of ice cream and pancakes. I think Hafi's cloudberry preserves would make an excellent gift for someone you know. I bought one for a friend who loves cooking, baking, eating sweet things, and ironically, buying things with clouds. My family members love all kinds of fruit preserves, jams, and jellies, and this Hafi cloudberry preserves was no exception! This jar of preserves is 40 calories per serving and its ingredients are: sugar, wild cloudberries, pectin (gelling agent), citric acid (acidity regulator), and potassium sorbate (preservative). Like another Amazon reviewer, ExCobraPilot, said, this jar is kind of expensive, but at the same time, it's nice to try new things, and it's not every day that you can say that you had a cloudberry treat! Overall, I'm satisfied with this versatile, delicious treat!

The media could not be loaded. Not my first time buying. Great, delicious product!I say be weary, because it's mildly addictive and habit forming. Also, if anything is damaged or broken, good luck getting a return or replacement.Most recently, ordered 4 jars, but the seal was broken on one (the lid was popped, and the contents are thin and watery compared to the other 3 jars.
