Is this a multiplayer game?

No. This is a rebuilt and updated version of the game "Abe's Exoddus" in which Abe the Mudokon (you) has to return to Rupture Farms (with a merry band of knuckleheads) to rescue the guys you left behind. You also need to infiltrate the SoulStorm brewery to keep them from making Brew from Mudokon bones! What's a Mudokon Savior to do?

Was told I'd get this game on the day of its release and haven't. Now amazon tells me theres a shipping delay. Always seems to be a "delay"

Warehouses everywhere are understaffed and are still putting out millions of orders a day. That's with insane amounts of mandatory overtime being put on their workers. There's a massive increase in online sales of things that can be purchased in stores. Items that are considered essential are being prioritized to go out first. If people would stop buying toilet paper and cookies, items would make it out much faster. Thank Covid and the media for these delays.

Is this for ps4? the comments suggest it is a ps5 game?

As I understand it, this game was originally supposed to be PS5 exclusive. But when it became clear that the release of the PS5 had been botched, they quickly reworked it for PS4. In other words, the same game is available in two editions - make sure you choose the version for the machine you have. Mine is for PS4 as I don't intend to get a PS5. Hope this helps.

Does it require internet to play?

I have not had a chance to play my copy yet, but I assume not because the previous Oddworld game, "New & Tasty" which was an update of the classic PS1 game "Abe's Oddyssey", was perfectly playable out of the box without internet. The info I got seemed to indicate that this was the case but that the Day One edition entitles the buyer to certain exclusive DLC which has to be retrieved from the PlayStation store.
