Worth spending a little more money on this!

These are the sturdier 73 cell trays that will last a long time. A bit more of an investment but over time the best value for your money. Buy the sturdy trays to hold them as well. If you can only afford the cheap flimsy ones, make sure that you start to grow your stash of these.

These are just pretty good. Better than anything else I have used, but not quite as strong as advertised. I like the cells well enough. They are quite sturdy and plenty deep for good root development. I had some trouble getting my seedlings out of the cells until I found a small salad fork to use that was smaller than the openings. My problem is with the trays. First I discovered that one them had a hole in it and does not hold water. Then I realized that the cells don't sit low enough in the trays to water the plants from the bottom. It takes a lot, really a lot of water in the tray before the water is high enough to reach the bottom of the cells. Enough that when I tried to move one of the trays with water in it the tray folded on me. I only use the trays with peat pots now and they work well for that. I use the cells in some larger trays that they fit all the way into, so I am getting use out of my purchase, but they didn't work the way I had hoped.Update 9/26/17Bootstrap farmer sent me 5 new sets after they redesign the sprouting trays.the redesign is terrific, they made the seedling tray tall enough to sit on the bottom of the bottom tray, so the seedling tray is even deeper than before. So better plant starts. I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone now!

I love these trays from Bootstrap Farmer and have both the 72 cell and the 50 cell trays. They are super sturdy and clean up easily. I use them for potting on seedlings or for seed sowing. The bottom tray makes it really easy for bottom watering. They stack and store very easily in my grow room.

Worked great for starting flower seeds. Unfortunately getting started flowers out of seedling tray was a real pain - and in process I managed to slice through some of the corners of the seedling tray since material is quite thin. Flowers roots get so stuck in seedling tray it's difficult to get plant out and poking from the bottom isn't sufficient to get rooted flower out. I'm sure there's a better way to get rooted flower starts out. Unfortunately I don't know what it is...

Super sturdy, should last for many many years! Very happy with product!

I love the solid trays so much that I came back to buy more. They are amazing! I have had many other trays fail because they could not handle the weight. These trays can take it.I also really like the 72 cell trays. A great size for starting seedlings and so easy to work with. The seedlings are easy to remove and the tray holds up well.

If you grow your own plants from seeds using the flimsy, cheap, 72 cell trays you can buy from a box store, stop. Do youself a favor and buy something worth while like this product. When you start moving the trays around or transporting them to where you transplant you'll be glad you made the purchase.
