Overall these are the best seed brand I’ve tried. Such a variety of flavors. Great size seeds, not too salty, but still carry the flavor really well. Cinnamon Toast-10/10. Didn’t expect sweet seeds to work but these are amazing. Parmesan Pepper- 9/10. These are great but I think a little garlic flavor would really make these pop. Smokehouse BBQ- 7/10. These were surprisingly spicy. Was not expecting spicy from barbecue but they weren’t bad. Lemon Pepper- 10/10. These have a little sweetness to them that really sends them over the top. Probably my favorite flavor. Original- 8/10. I’m not usually a big fan of original seeds because they are too salty, but these have just the right amount of salt. Jalepeno Ranch- 5/10. These really didn’t stick out to me. They are quite bland and have 0 spice. Still better than other brands but compared to the rest of the flavors from this brand this one is slacking. Dill Pickle- 9/10. Other brands dill pickle is extremely salty and sour. These have just the right amount of flavor. Hatch Chile- 9/10. These have a sweet heat that goes perfectly with sunflower seeds. Was expecting these to be very spicy but it’s quite subtle.

Fantastic! Through all 8 sampler packs there was not a single bitter seed like you'd get a few times a pack with the big brand name seeds, and far less sticks and detritus. The flavors are incredible, but subtle. If you have a ruined palette from a sugary diet these may be too bland, but if you have a well trained palette these have the perfect level of flavor to take a big mouthful without getting overwhelmed. So far this is my favorite seed brand!

Totally disgusting. Inedible. Wish I could get a refund. I tried 4 different flavors of the variety pack and had a terrible experience with each. The hatch chili flavor clearly had a manufacturing error, as there was no flavoring on them. The jalapeño ranch made me gag and have an awful smell. Parmesan and pepper made me spit them out immediately. Terrible experience overall. Shop elsewhere.

As someone who's used to DAVID seeds, these simply aren't salty enough, so you can barely taste their flavors. These have a lot of potential to be good, but half the reason I eat sunflower seeds is for sucking the flavor out of them for a while before I finally eat them. I'm probably going to soak these in a brine mixture so I can enjoy finishing them. The size of the seeds is awesome, they're generally larger than other brands I've tried. The meat in them is great too. I don't think I've encountered a single rotten seed, so they're fresh and pleasant to eat.

Original - This is what you would expect. Perfect amount of salt with no unpleasant flavor or texture. Hatch Chili - This was a crowd favorite at my house. Good green chili flavor without much heat. Easy to eat all day. Smokehouse BBQ - This should be labeled Honey BBQ, it has a very sweet BBQ flavor. Great seed with a great taste but not my favorite flavor in any brand. Jalapeno Ranch - More ranch than jalapeno, very good flavor with only minor heat. Parmesan & Pepper - My favorite. Good Parmesan flavor with a hint of black pepper, AWESOME. Cinnamon Toast - This was not included in the list of flavors I thought I ordered but a pleasant surprise in the box. Great sweet flavor which made for a good treat when in the mood for something sweet. Dill Pickle - With other brands dill pickle is my favorite. This was a miss with Chinook. No flavor, certainly not pickle flavor. If you are looking for a great pickle flavor, my choices are Bigs then Spitz. I typically choose Spitz because they have a better quality seed than Bigs and still a good flavor. Step up your pickle game Chinook ;-). I will be ordering more of the Hatch Chili, Jalapeno Ranch, and Parmesan & Pepper. They were awesome and disappeared way to fast at my house.

About 16 years ago, I tried seeds. Why? Well as a school bus driver for sporting events, I was around them daily and nightly. A tennis coach offered me some seeds, I was such a rook, that I grabbed a handful & chewed them shells and all, he looked mortified. Then gave me the basics, store a dozen in your cheek, let them get moist, then one by one, place one on your teeth, split it, shell it chew the seed, and get the flavor out of the 1/2 shell & repeat. At fifty, it was very new to me, but I did catch on. Now after trying all of the brands you see in big box stores & convivence stores , the Chinook reviews captured me. Chinook for the win. High quality seeds, all excellent, none burnt, none with that bottom of the barrel taste, 4 bags finished. Not one bad seed, yet, or do I expect one. Unique flavors, almost understated. Being a new fan to intermittent fasting (May 2024) These help sustain me, on longer fasts. Especially on those fasts that last 60-84 hour. CHINOOK, a tad more than all the rest, but quality miles above the usual suspects

I really wanted to like these, with all the flavor varieties. Im not sure why this is, but they're all sweet. The lemon pepper flavor is the worst, imo. Its like spicy country time lemonade. Parmsean & pepper, is okay. The cheese flavor is spot on, but it still has that sweet flavor at the end. Hatch chili & jalapeno ranch tastes identical, like sweet & spicy pepper. Dill pickle is more sweet vinegar, no dill flavor at all. Original is plain, unsalted sunflower seeds. Tbh the flavor that shocked me the most was the one I was expecting to like the least. The cinnamon toast was actually great, the sweetness was welcomed with this one, and it tastes exactly like cinnamon toast crunch. The seeds are all crunchy, and can satisfy that itch, but I wouldn't reorder this brand.
