Nice Light ..... BUT
Nice Light. Stupid Money. Thankfully I'm reimbursed. The only bad thing, is the screws that hold the cover to change the battery. Why not a standard screw (flat blade) which every glove box, tool box, multi tool has. Instead it had really small hex head. I've replaced mine already, but it's definitely a design fubar.

Ok headlamp
This lamp is ok. It seems overpriced but is the only intrinsically safe headlamp for klein hats. The rechargeable version is brighter than this one.

Broken hinge mechanism after normal use
I purchased this Klein Tools 60156 headlamp on May 5. I kept it stored safely in my tool bag, and after only about two months of ownership, the hinge mechanism failed during normal adjustment. This headlamp uses a flip-down angle adjustment design, but the small locking tab that supports and holds the hinge position broke. The light head no longer stays in place and simply falls down, making the headlamp unusable. This failure did not happen because of a drop, impact, or abuse. It occurred during normal professional use and handling. For a Klein product, I expected much better durability and reliability. The hinge locking mechanism appears to be a weak point in the design. I would like to know if this part can be repaired or replaced, or if Klein offers a replacement hinge component. If this is not repairable, customers are left with an expensive headlamp that becomes useless because of one small failed part. I hope Klein Tools can address this issue, because I have always considered the brand to represent quality and durability.

Flimsy plastic, but I still used it
So, like the other reviews say, this thing broke within 3 months of purchasing. Mine broke at the clip that holds the light onto the hard hat. It wasn't much of a problem though because with all of the dirt and grime I work around it stayed on just from friction for over a year longer. In fact, only today, 1 year and almost 4 months after purchase, while prying it off to replace the batteries, did it actually break in a catastrophic way. The plastic that allows it to swivel around the pins on the mount broke on one side. If they could redesign this with a non ferrous metal housing and kept it below $90, it would be a 5 star product for sure. As is, it's bright, intrinsically safe, and sips on batteries, which means it's one of the better options out there, but it's got some flaws for sure.
