VViViD 3M Clear Paint Surface Protection Vinyl Wrap 2 Inch Wide Tape Roll (2 Inch x 48 Inch)

I’ve been riding about 20 miles a day to and from work for several years, in all types of weather. I used this clear tape on contact points where cables, bags, or movement could cause chafing on the bike frame. After multiple years of daily use, the tape is still firmly attached. It never peeled up, shifted, or failed, despite constant exposure to rain, heat, dirt, and regular wear. When I checked underneath, the paint was fully protected and still looks great. This tape did exactly what it was supposed to do—long-term frame protection with no maintenance and no visible damage. Highly recommended for anyone looking to prevent frame wear from chafing.

Product is a bit hard to apply to vehicle where there are bends or curves.

I use this on my bike to protect the frame in areas where items like cables or bags rub. Works great no more worries about damaging the paint

Using this on my drive side chainstay. Much cheaper to buy a roll like this than precut. But notice that this roll is cut from a larger tube and the raw edge is not 100% smooth or 100% sticky, presumably because it’s been handled. You can see in my pic that the raw edge is a little jagged and not adhering. It’s fine for now, but next time, I’ll trim my own edge with an x-acto blade.

Product worked awesome I didn’t need a large roll of paint protection and the width of the material was perfect for the the areas inside my truck that I needed to protect adhesive was perfect and looks great
