Good Product
It fit perfectly into my existing firewire port. My computer recognized my external device right away. Transfer speeds were what they should have been. I would recommend this purchase.

Works great!
I have a reaaaaaalllly old external harddrive that I needed to take things off of and couldn't find the right cord to go with it. After much research, I was happy to see that this was available! It works perfectly and I was able to take off of my harddrive all of the things I needed.

Works Well
Bought this to connect my two Macs to transfer files from one to the other. Not quite as fast as other options, obviously, but works very well since it's Firewire 800.

Great Company Great Product
This item shipped right away. It got lost on the way (not the fault of the company). When I contacted the company, they were MORE than helpful! They were quick to respond and kind through all correspondence. The item found its way to me only a day or 2 after it was declared lost. I am very pleased with it. Great quality. What more is there to say about a computer cord? Whenever a connection failed, it was always due to a worn out socket.

Check what Hotwire you need before purchase
After searching 4 different retail stores, buying 2 hotwires that were the wrong ones- finally got this one. Used it once, now it is done.
