My son was obsessed with a red coat from H&M he’s worn for 2 years and they didn’t do the same one this year for us to buy in a bigger size; this is very similar but ‘even better’ according to him because it has a compass on the arm! It’s got a thin fleece lining and isn’t heavy to carry; not quite as lightweight as the H&M one but close. Great for chilly autumn & spring mornings & days. He hates thicker fleecier winter coats as finds them too bulky and restrictive, and he’s running around so much this will probably be fine even when it’s a bit colder. We have a separate proper waterproof coat for days when it’s really raining and know going to be out in it, so not tested how long it lasts dry in the rain. He’s tall for his age but skinny, length is fine.

This was a last minute purchase for my son. He decided that he specifically wanted a red coat and when this popped up it fit all the criteria. As ever with an online purchase you do wonder if its going to be as good as it appears in the photos. I can vouch that it surpassed my expectations. It's light weight, waterproof, lined and the fabric is of great quality. My son likes the fact that it has a removable hood and as many have said, the compass is a winner! I sized up and the fit is perfect with room for him to grow so should last a good while.

Very happy with this jacket, warm lining great for over jumper and it’s a lovely colour green and my son likes which is a bonus.

Great little jacket for the price. Wind-proof, water-proof, true to size, and the fleece lining gives it a little extra warmth, perfect for autumn/spring when it’s not quite time for a winter coat. Kid says it’s comfortable and cosy. She likes the tiny compass detail on the arm too! Only quibble is, I’m not sure there is any added value to the hood being detachable… I’m just waiting for it to get lost at school.

Great quality and warmth. Has been used as my sons school jacket so gets abused, but still looks new after several months.

Meine Tochter bräuchte eine für die Klassenfahrt. Und zum Glück hatte sie die dabei, es goss aus Eimern und die Jacke trotzte dem Wetter. Dank des Innenfließ blieb sie schön warm und musste nicht frieren. Schönes Kleidungsstück.
