Warm and relatively dry
I got these to wear inside my stocking foot chest waders that I wear daily for my job at a self wash dog wash. In Alaska! (The dog owners wash their own dogs. I just do clean up after.) You wouldn't think that I would get so wet, but the dogs like to share by shaking all over me, or I get an unusually messy station. Whatever the reason, I would frequently have cold wet feet inside my waders and would be miserable for the rest of the day.Now that's a thing of the past. The trick is to wear wool socks as a base layer, then the waterproof socks. If I wear the socks on their own, my feet sweat enough that my toes get cold. Also, make sure that your pants legs cover the top of the socks. If you are truly subjected to water from above, not just seepage through shoes, you will need a barrier to water pouring over the top of the socks, and thus INTO the socks. That happened the first time I wore them, but not since I pulled my leggings over the top.I have women's size 10.5-11 feet, but size up to 12's when you add in the wool hiking socks. I bought these socks in large and they fit just great. A little loose before I added the base layer.I rinse them out, pull them inside out, and air dry. They are much nicer than plain neoprene socks, which didn't work at all for me. I love them enough to order a 2nd pair!

Great fit Great price
Great for anything that'll get you wet i around in a carwash and while these are always soaked my feet are never more then moist they fit and feel good but I recommend washing once a week as they get stale pretty quick

Perfect for the beach looks great and performs good. Feet still get wet but protects your feet from shells and sand.

Dry feet, happy feet.
I had a tournament on a weekend and prior to the tournament the weather here was predicting a lot of rain. I couldnât find any waterproof cleatsâyou can wear plastic bags on your feet inside the shoes, but didnât want my feet to be hot or have that swamp feel. I went looking for needed waterproof to see if this would help. Glad I purchased these.I would recommend getting these without any doubt. They were medium thickness, comfy and warm when I wore them to play that day. I believe I had them on the entire day and not once did I remove them or readjust them from slipping.I wear menâs size 9.5 for reference and large was fine. They are crew like in height so not too long or too short.

Great water proof sock
I wore these on a trip to Alaska. They kept my feet dry the entire time and were not too hot that my feet sweated the entire time. The only thing to note is that they are pretty thick. Over all would buy again.

Fabulous!!
Today's activities included trekking in knee to thigh deep snow in the back country of Silver Creek falls state park. These training hikes, as we call them, are not only building our strength and gear, they are building our confidence and hiking techniques. Each time we go out we have new gear to test and usually come home with new ideas of things we may want to pursue.Today's test included a pair of these new waterproof socks. As you may recall, my last snowy hike consisted of soaking wet feet. Today resulted in an amazing pair of warm dry feet after traversing 9.8 miles in the cold WET snow, rain, mud and even through a few streams we couldn't hop over. đ It felt so bizarre to just tromp through puddles and streams like it was nothing! âââââThe only moisture in my base later of socks was the standard amount of sweat you would expect. I don't feel like my feet sweat any more or less with these socks on.

Only water proof one time
i baught these for hiking when there is dew on the grass or if it rains. The first time I went for a hike there was dww on the grass and we hiked for 4 hours. My feet were dry at the end of the walk. I did not step or wa.k through any standing water. The 2nd time I went out on a hike with these there was snow on the ground so my shoes got wet during the walk when the snow melted. This was only a two hour hike. My toes were wet at the end of the hike. These are not water proof and very disapointing that just melting snow will get them wet.
