Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 Electric Toothbrush, Sonic Toothbrush with Two Intensity Levels, Pressure Sensor and Timer, Black, Model HX6800/87

I bought the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4300 Electric Toothbrush after reading lots of reviews, and I have to say my experience has been pretty positive. First impressions were good. It feels well made and isn’t overly complicated to use. After using it for a while, it definitely feels like it cleans my teeth properly, my mouth feels fresher and cleaner compared to a manual toothbrush, and the sonic action is noticeable without being uncomfortable. Battery life is fine rather than amazing. It lasts long enough for normal use, but you do need to keep an eye on it and remember to charge it. As long as you don’t forget, it’s not really a problem and fits easily into a routine. My only real complaint is that it doesn’t come with a proper UK plug in the box. It’s not a big issue, I already had a USB adapter, but at this price point it would have been nice if Philips included one. Overall though, I’m happy with it. It cleans well, is easy to use, and does what it’s meant to do. Despite the plug issue, I’d still recommend it if you’re looking for a solid, no-nonsense electric toothbrush. Used Oral-B for decades but their battery life is not the same as it once was. My first Oral-B lasted for ages but the next 3 declined rapidly and needed to charge them every second day in the end. So I took the risk and gave Philips Sonicare a chance (got the 4300 for £65). Well well well, what a dramatic change, not only is the cleaning result much better (feels like a dentist cleaning after every use) but also the battery life is amazing. I use mine twice daily (approx. 4-5 minutes each time) and only have to charge it once a months which is absolutely amazing. Yes, the replacement heads are a bit more expensive than Oral-B but I got 4 for £10 on offer, so that's not too bad. Got mine now for 12 months and still works perfectly. Used 5 heads so far. Only downside for me is that the timer stops after 2 minutes and I have to turn the toothbrush on again. Would prefer if it just keeps going but it is not the end of the world. The other minor issue is that once you need a new head the brush will keep reminding you for a while which is a bit annoying if you want to use the old one for a bit longer. But this will also stop after a while and is no deal breaker either. Also the travel case is useful and since the battery life is amazing, you can leave the charger at home if you go on holiday :) Cleaning results 10/10 Battery life 10/10 Handling and looks 10/10 Would recommend it to anyone!

Works well and cleans well. 2 settings - a soft clean and a more 'vigorous' clean. A timer cuts the power after 2 minutes so you don't over brush (yes, it is a thing). The battery last for about 12 day before the charge light starts flashing, You'll get 4 more cleans before it stops altogether. My only gripe is the recharge time (and why I only gave 4 stars). Nearly 4 hours to get a full charge. Ridiculous, but other reviewers have mentioned this. Otherwise, it's a good product.

This is probably my 4th Philips Sonicare toothbrush. My old one suddenly stopped working and after a little research, plus an Amazon gift voucher - I decided on this one. I'm so glad I didn't get a different one. There's one button, which I love. No extra button for whitening teeth. No extra button for different pulses. I just want to clean my teeth and go. The brush itself comes with a head, plus a travel case. I recently travelled and used the case. You pull off the head, and lay both handle and head in the box. It's very secure, clean , and ensures I don't accidentally turn on the handle while in my case. I also LOVE these heads. My previous Healthy White models have had white heads with larger surface areas which have curved bristles. These are smaller and more straight, meaning I can get to all areas of my mouth easily. The handle also senses the head and informs you when it's been 3 months, so you can change to a new head. The orange light and vibrations can't be missed. It looks good and on a single charge it lasts me around 2 weeks. It's simple and easy to use if you just want clean teeth! It charges overnight (I'd say maybe 6 hours though I haven't timed it) but it's worth pointing out that it has a 2 pin plug so you'll need an adapter if you don't have those shaver ports in your bathroom.

After only 5 months this has stopped working. I am giving up on Philips Sonicate electric toothbrushes, they never last very long but this is the worst

I've used the normal electric toothbrushes for years so decided to try a sonic one to see if it made a difference. It does...I have noticed I get less grief from my dentist now, and it's just a check, often not requiring any cleaning. For that reason alone I'd recommend this toothbrush. I also feel it's doing a better job which is subjective, same toothpaste as always but teeth feel cleaner.

Great for falsies.... Sonic seems to work better on false teeth than a brushing head. Great little maching

È solido. La confezione da viaggio è comoda. È silenzioso, ma potente. Ha due modalità, una standard e una sensitive, peccato che per selezionarle si usi lo stesso pulsante di accensione, dovendo quindi cliccare più volte quando lo si accende o spegne. È un po’ fastidioso il fatto che quando lo si accende non memorizza l’ultima modalità usata o non parte sempre dalla stessa e quando lo si spenge a volte basta un click altre volte bisogna passare tutte le modalità. Si carica abbastanza velocemente e la batteria ha una buona durata. A livello di pulizia fa il suo lavoro, sicuramente meglio di uno spazzolino manuale. Rispetto al diretto concorrente Oral-b, penso che non raggiunga lo stesso livello di pulizia, ho avuto modo di confrontarlo con un Pro2 e un IO3 e come risultato si avvicina più al Pro2. La vera nota negativa sono le testine, si fa fatica a trovarle, spesso sono disponibili solo poche delle tante versioni e per di più sono abbastanza costose.

Bonjour Produit arrivé en temps et en heure mais non conforme à la description : il manque en effet la boîte de rangement. J’avais commandé ce modèle exprès pour cela c’est dommage. Retour demandé.

Ich hab sie ne Weile getestet, bis ich sie laden musste... was leider nicht ging, da der Stecker nicht kompatibel war. Die beiden Stecker sind minimal zu eng und passten daher nicht in ne 08/15 Steckdose.

Passar inte till Sverige, behövs skaffa en extra adapter för eluttag, tyvärr väldigt väldigt besvärligt.

De stekker van de oplader past niet in het stopcontact. Deze is smaller dan de reguliere stopcontacten.
