I’ve only had the iRestore Professional with the battery pack for a short time, but I’m already really happy with it. It’s super easy to use — just put it on and go — and it fits my head perfectly, which is a big deal for me. From the very first session it felt like my hair looked a little denser and fuller, and the whole experience just feels solid and well-made. I used a different laser helmet before and this one is a clear upgrade in comfort and convenience. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend.

We purchased the iRestore hair growth system about two years ago. The helmet was used fairly consistently as recommended, alongside other hair-loss treatments, and we have definitely noticed a positive difference.Realistically, the results aren't the dramatic, incredibly thick hair shown in some advertisements, but there has been a noticeable improvement, and we were pleased with what we were seeing.Unfortunately, after about two years, the device suddenly stopped working. When we checked the warranty, we discovered that it was already one or two months outside the warranty period. We contacted iRestore anyway, not really knowing what to expect.To our surprise, iRestore agreed to replace the device with a brand-new one, even though it was technically outside the warranty period. We were extremely impressed by that decision and by the level of customer support we received throughout the process.In particular, we wanted to recognize and thank Jaymaline, who handled our case. She was exceptionally helpful, responsive, and professional, and went out of her way to coordinate the replacement and make the whole process straightforward.We were already happy with the iRestore system based on the results we had seen, but the way the company stood behind its product, even after the warranty had expired, made an equally strong impression on us.

Comfortable and easy to operate. Both my brother and I use the helmet and as my head is small the company sent me a set of pads for inside the helmet that interchange so we are both comfortable in the helmet. We are both looking forward to seeing a difference in our hair growth. As a hairdresser some of my clients use red light on their hair growth journeys and I see their growth.

I can confidently say that this thing WORKS!!!I waited to write this review until I had some tangible evidence that I could share.I have been using it every other day (sometimes every 3rd day because I'm human and forget) for about 6 months.I bought it in October of 2025 and really started using it religiously in about February of 2026.Oh. My. Word.Within a month or two of regimented use my shedding dropped by at least 75-85%. I was losing fist-fulls of hair every time I showered (150-160 hairs, yes I counted), now it's less than 30 hairs. And I have changed absolutely nothing but adding this to my routine.I started losing hair on one side to the point where even my hair stylist mentioned the fact that one side was so much thinner than the other. I went through a barage of medical tests only to have all of my doctors say there was nothing to be done, there was nothing wrong, and there was nothing I could do. Being on artificial thyroid hormones can cause this and it's just an unfortunate side effect.It is now end of July 2026 and I'm seeing so much new growth not only in the areas where I was thinning, but all over as well.This things works, you just need to be patient and stick to the recommended every other day use.I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who is experiencing hair loss.

Final updat:After giving this a shot for over a year I’ve finally given up. Why then give it 4*? Because iRestore stood solidly behind the product, giving me advance and tips and even more time to see if it would work. When it didn’t, they refunded my money without delay or argument, so this was a true no lose situation. So you have no reason not to try it.I’ve tried PRP, topical and oral minoxidil and none of them worked either - but I didn’t get a penny back when I tried. So if you’re considering solutions, I’d start with one of these.Update:I have increased my review by one star to 3 because of iRestore's willingness to work with me to address my concerns - customer experience plays a significant role in my ratings.I will update this review again at 6 months.I also should have mentioned in my original review that I bought the battery accessory with my purchase - my experience with the battery has been a 5 star experience and I highly recommend it. It's not that I use the freedom it gives me to move around a lot, but it's really nice to have the flexibility to sit wherever I want or move around when needed.************I'm writing this review after having this unit for 3 months - which is the earliest I-restore says I might see the beginnings of a change. I've been using it religiously every other day for the 25 minute cycle. The unit is very comfortable and a snap to set up. I don't find that my head gets unusually hot or any discomfort while wearing it, although my wife jokes that I look like I'm wearing a Dunce Cap, especially if I'm sitting in a corner reading while using it.My first impulse was to give this a 3 for now, since to date I see no difference, which is not unexpected. I've attached photos of my head from just before I started and the 3 month point. But I'm giving this 2 stars because the 6 mos satisfaction guarantee runs up against the "you might not notice much of a change for 3-6 mos" and I can foresee returning it slightly before if changes aren't obviously happening.Note when I bought this from Amazon, I-Restore was offering a full year satisfaction guarantee (I see the 6 mos warranty on Amazon now, but clearly didn't notice it when I ordered). I guess that they do this to motivate buyers to buy direct vs. from Amazon.At six months I'll update this review with final shots.

Product works well. Battery pack option is great so you don’t have to plug into an outlet. Just started using so not sure how well it helps with hair loss yet

Seeing some hair growth. The quality of the device is made very well and the coverage is awesome. I will continue to use it as it takes at least 3 months to see more improvement to get the thickness and softness I am wanting! It's worth the money as I consider it an investment in thicker better hair!

I’ve been using the iRestore Professional helmet for about two months, every other day. I’m in my early 40s and dealing with hair loss likely caused by severe anemia (I recently had an iron infusion), along with possible female pattern thinning. Since anemia-related hair loss takes time to reverse, I’m using the helmet together with iRestore’s hair-strengthening supplements. It’s still early, so this is a “so far” review.The helmet itself is easy to use, but it initially felt too tight. I have a very sensitive scalp, and to their credit, customer support immediately sent smaller padding for free, which helped a lot. During use, I feel mild tingling and itching—nothing painful or alarming. I did use it once or twice with wet hair before realizing that might not be recommended. I would personally prefer a very clear, simple list of do’s and don’ts. It may exist, but if so, it’s easy to miss.In terms of results, my hair shedding seems to have slowed down by about 50%. It’s still shedding, but noticeably less. One week when I was sick and didn’t use the helmet, I experienced a big shed at the end of the week, which makes me slightly concerned about dependency—but I’m watching that over time. My hair does look fuller overall, likely because I’m losing less. One thing I’m monitoring closely: I noticed a sudden increase in white hairs on the top of my head after starting. That could be age-related, but the timing and location make me cautious. I’m not jumping to conclusions yet.I haven’t started their topical hair products yet because I prefer not to change everything at once. For now, I’m using highly rated caffeine-based and natural stimulant shampoos and washing every other day. My husband tried the helmet briefly and felt like he was shedding more, but I don’t think he gave it enough time to judge.Overall, I like the company’s responsiveness, and while the emails are automated, I actually appreciate the ongoing contact because it makes it easier to ask questions. I’m giving this 4 stars for now and plan to update once I’ve used it longer and added the rest of the system.
