Fast, quick, reliable water diverters
These worked wonderful in creating a quick dam for a flash flooding rain. They blocked and diverted the rain in many areas of the house. This definitely helped save our basement tonight. I will attempt to dry these out; even if they don't dry I will purchase more. It's a small price to pay for a dry basement.

No more basement water nightmares
Got these to soak up way too much water that was leaking from my AC condenser and they work amazingly. I was skeptical, but as someone with PTSD from basement water issues in the past, I'll always keep these on hand/ in place for true peace of mind

Works but not so sure it's reusable
I would say the barrier worked. We have a corner in our sunroom that lets the rain come under and onto the floor when there is a lot of rain. My main concern is a hurricane where there is more rain than usual. We left for a couple of months and there must have been a hard rain because at that end , the barrier had absorbed the water. I can't tell you how much it had rained. I would have given it a 5 except it hasn't dried out at all. I'm not sure how long it takes but I have put it out in the direct Florida sun for 3 days and it hasn't dried

Perfect water diverter and highly recommend!

First off, if you found this review helpful in your decision-making, please click on the helpful button so this review may help others in their decision-making process.CAUTION: Misleading description! Barrier is 6 inches wide and 5 ft long and grows to 3.5 inches high when activated. It does NOT raise to 6 inches after activated!Amazing product that works to DIVERT water (see review video), although I would not suggest using it if you have torrential flooding (water flowing 10+ mph at a constant rate). Barrier is activated by water, and can be placed in the needed location either dry (wait for the flooding water to activate the product,), or wet (personally activated by soaking in water for ~5 min, method I used).I am currently using this to block water from flowing into the outside bathroom. The review video shows approx. how much water actually flows through that particular area, and does a very good job blocking that from entering under the bathroom door. Product length is 5 ft, although that was a little long for me, so I attempted an experiment. I measured out the length I needed and chose to soak ONLY THE MEASURED SECTION in the water-filled bucket, and let the rest overhang over the bucket to stay dry... The ending result is in one of the photos provided (with the scrunched-up section), and works PERFECTLY! The dry end never touches water, so it stays in this flat position, and has stayed this way at the time of this review 1 month later. The product is also reusable (allow ALOT of time to dry) and biodegradable, allowing for easy clean ups.In conclusion, I highly recommend this product and will purchase more should anything happen to these.

Saved my basement!
Oh my God, I can’t believe it. My downspout came down in April 25. Heavy rain.My basement was a mess. I bought these. It’s now June 25. I put them on the basement where the water can come in. Today I just noticed the downspout had detached again. I thought better check the basement. I went down there. Both of these pieces were swelled up. Saved my basement. This stuff is the best. I’ll be getting more.

They did the job
This solved my water in the basement by absorbing and keeping the water out. After they got soaked they were dried and used again and still worked. Easy to use and lightweight to place and after absorbing water (lots of it) can be dried out to reuse.

Drying out time is forever!
The flood barrier technically works. However, you would need many to ward off water from any real flooding. The bigger issues is the amount of time it takes the product to dry out. I live in Phoenix and had purchased to use at the entrance of my patio during our heavy rains. When I used them 8 days ago for a couple hours. Then picked them up and laid out to dry outdoors with low humidity and temperatures over 100. Over a week later and the silica is still not dried out. If it is not dried out yet in AZ, I cannot image in other climates how long they would take to dry.

Saved My Apartment!
I had a mystery leak that flowed for days. We were mopping in every waking moment and. Finally, I found this product and gave it a shot. It gave us hours of relief at a time until the problem was solved. I was so grateful to find Quick Dam. It soaked up so much water and couldn't have been easier to use.
