I use them daily for snacks or frozen microwave dinners, and they work perfectly. They are also excellent and sturdy enough for holding flimsy paper plates. The higher edges are a great design feature because they keep food from sliding off when carrying your plate to another room. Also great for using out in the patio and not having to worry about breakage. The colors are a nice mix-and-match variety with a matte finish. They don't get hot in the microwave when heating foods, making them very easy and safe to handle. They also kept their shape perfectly in the dishwasher and are very easy to rinse off in the sink.
