Best mounting system, period!
I have been using RAM mounts on all my motorcycles for as long as I can remember, then when I was flying in the military, we started using RAM mounts in the aircraft as well, so when I bought my last Jeep (JK) I naturally bought a RAM mount for my phone, I was using the awesome suction cup and it worked flawlessly, however it is not a small mount, then I found this rail for my Gladiator and instantly bought it, installed in minutes and now opens my windshield up a bit from the suction cup that once was there, This is a far better system than the other offerings from Bull*point and the other Chinese made mounts, these are not the cheapest mounts, but you get what you pay for and this won't disappoint, there is a reason they are widely used on ships, boats, military, aircraft and so on. PS: These are made in the USA as well as all RAM mounts.

Solid install, but beware the vibration
This is a really easy install and clean solution that can hold multiple devices on my Gladiator dash. My old magnet mount just had a suction/sticky disk on the dash, which would fall off every month or so (and off-roading.) I took the advice of a YouTuber and recycled the magnet mount plate on the end of the RAM plate. However, even though the RAM mounts are solid, the vibration of the road travels through the arm and the phone bounces a lot. If I want to capture video, I have to rotate the arm and brace the phone against the windshield (see pic). I might try buying the shorter RAM arm to see if that helps minimize the vibration. I also noticed that the the ball mount can unscrew fairly easily with the torque of the RAM arm. Other than that, It's great and I recommend.

Love it
Awesome system to get all your devices well organized. It fits perfectly on my gladiator dash feeling very solid and very good looking. The only dislike is the top part that is built in plastic material instead of steel. So, far I mounted my iphone, but thinking to buy more accessories to mount radio, camera and tablet.
